I Can't Lose You (Bellarke)

Chapter 14

---------------- 1 Week Time-lapse-------------
*Clarke POV*
One week has passed since Bellamy's mother died. Octavia and him have had some time to talk about it and I think he finally moving on. I remember when I thought my dad was dead. All k could think of was pain, and how my life would never be the same, but now he's back. My dad is home again.

I'm still lying awake in Bellamy's tent while he sleeps soundly right next to me. Today's the day of no work. Just celebration. My favorite day of the year. Unity Day.

------------------- 2 hours later ----------------

We get ready for Unity day by setting up tables. The hunters went out this morning and got 3 whole deer and four bunnies. It really is a feast! I see Monty and Jasper bringing out the moonshine.

I hear Bellamy behind me giving orders. Finally a day where we don't have to worry about Grounders.

It's almost night time when the moonshine games start to come out, flicking the caps into the drink. It turns out I'm pretty good at it. I'm the "moonshine champion" according to Jasper.

I'm focused into the game when I fell hands grab my waist. As in suddenly frightened I scream. Until I turn around and it's just Bellamy. "God Damn it Bell." I yell at him while trying not to laugh.

"I got you good didn't I?" He questioned at me.

"Yeah, good enough to make me scream." I reply. "Monty, I think I'm going to sit this one out." I yell over to Monty and get a nod in response. I notice Bellamy starts to slurr his words.

"You are so drunk, Bellamy." I say while laughing.

"Am Not!" He says while his eyes stare at my nose.

"Why are you staring at my nose?" I question with a smile.

"I thought it was your eyes for I minute."

"Oh my God, Bell. I'm gonna go check on the moonshine."

"Don't worry I can see fine now." He yells at me when I walk away.

I'm caught up in a conversation with Monty, when I hear him whisper "Oh, Shit." As his eyes widen I horror looking behind me.

"It can't be that bad Monty." I say while Turing around. But right then and there is the worst thing I could ever see. I feel my heat shatter in a million pieces as I see Bellamy leaving on the drop ship having a make out session with Lily.
