I made a contract with him. I made a contract with a demon. I almost can't understand why I did that, but then I remember Ciel. I did it for him.
I signed and put the book I was reading down and stood up from my chair. I gazed out the window, looking at the moon glaring back at me. "The moon is quite high, Young Mistress." The demon called from the shadow in the corner of my room.
I nodded. "It would be best for me to sleep now I suppose." Sebastian walked up behind me and started unlacing the back of my dress. I looked down at my feet. I don't know why I feel so alone. I have Ciel, Sebastian. Why can't I just be happy? Like Lizzy. She's a happy young girl. A normal young girl. Why can't I be normal. I sighed.
"Is something wrong, Young Mistress?"
"For the rest if the night, please call me Lily." I just want to pretend like a have a friend on first name bases. No formalities.
"Of course, Lily." I softly smiled, a pitiful one. He slid the night shirt over my head. I didn't realize my dress was already off.
"Tell me Sebastian, can you feel human feelings?"
"It is possible." I smiled at this. I may can find a friend in him.
I took his hand in mine and kissed his knuckle. "Can you stay by me till I fall asleep?"
Sebastian bowed. "Of course, Lily."
I lay down on my bed snuggling into the covers and close my eyes. I feel the bed beside me sink down a bit. I softly smiled.
As my breathing slowed I felt soft lips touch my forehead. "Good night, Lily..." My bed rose up again and the door shut leaving me alone but I was not scared. I felt calm and soothed as I drifted off to sleep.
