After we had the practice, Lily shut herself in her room and told me not to enter.
I don't know why she doesn't want to see me. It could be how I acted.
After an hour or so she says my name. I go to her door in record time.
I softly knock on her door. "Come in." Her voice sounds weaker than normal. It sounded like she was crying. Could I have upset her this much?
I open the door to see her sitting on her bed, her hair sticking up every which way.
I take long strides over to her kneeling on one knee. I take her face into my hands and wipe any remaining tears left on her pink cheeks.
"What's wrong, Lily?" She looks at me for just a mere second, than quickly averts her eyes.
I pull her into a hug and I place a kiss on the top of her head.
"I...I think I..." She chokes out.
I pull away slightly and place two fingers under her chin making her look at me. "You think what?"
"I love a demon..." I could barely make out the words. I stare at her in awe.
I move closer to her face, an inch away from her lips. "And I think I love a human." And with that, I softly but confidently kiss her plump lips
