Part 17: It was all a dream

At 7am my phone rang and I woke up. I saw that I was in my old room. I didn't know what happened cause last time I checked I was in Germany with Stepan and Lukas. IT WAS ALL A DREAM??? I screamed. Then I got up and went to the kitchen to ask my mom wether I went to Germany or not. " Good morning mom. Can I ask you a question?" I said. "What is it honey?". "Um, mom did I go to Germany 1 week ago. And meet Stepan and Lukas?" I asked. "No honey. You've never been to Germany. Did you see a dream?" My mom asked. "I guess so" I said sadly and went back to my room to get ready for school. I didn't believe that it was a dream cause everything was so real. When I was ready I went to school and the first thing I did was to find Emi. When I found her I told her about the crazy dream that I saw. She was surprised. Then I was sitting in class and thinking about the dream that I had. I was so caught up with the whole thing that I didn't recognize that a new boy came to our class until the teacher said " You'll be working with partners for the science project ". I prayed that I was with Emi but sadly I wasn't. " Bethany your partner will be Chad" the teacher said. "Who's Chad?" I asked. And the new boy waved his hand. So he was Chad. Chad had blonde hair and dark blue eyes, he was very handsome. When class was over he came to me and said
" hi I'm Chad and you must be Bethany"
"Um yeah. Nice to meet you. So you're the new kid"
Chad smiled then said "come to my house after school and we'll work on the science project"
I said okay and went to my next class. School finished early and I didn't recognize how time passed. After school when I was going home I saw that Chad was in front of the school. I totally forgot about the science project. We went to his house. I was really tired so I didn't talk much. Instead he told me about himself. When we got to his house he showed me where his room is. I went into his room while he brought snacks and the first thing I saw was a guitar. Then he came too and I asked
"Do you play the guitar"
" Yeah. And I also sing"
"Wow, can you please sing something for me?"
He took the guitar and started singing "Loving can hurt..." He was singing Photograph by Ed Sheeran. I loved that song and it reminded me of Dave. So at that moment my eyes filled with tears. "Wait for me to come home" and with those words the song finished.
"So how was it?"
"That was amazing. How did you know that I love this song?" I asked.
He just smiled and moved on. After that we started working on the project. It was 6pm when we finished the project and I had to go home. I said bye to him and his family, took my skateboard and left. When I came home I called Emi and asked her if she can come to my house and sleepover. She agreed. Emi was at my house in 15 minutes. I told her about Chad. And she said that she already knows him.
" how do you know Chad?" I asked.
"He's my brothers best friend" Emi said.
She told me everything about Chad. She said that Chad is a very nice and sweet guy. We talked a lot that night and went to sleep at almost 3am.
