A couple of days later, my Mum is working. I'm currently at my grans house just watching TV. Someone knocks on the door so I went to see who it is. It was my friend Jess from school.
"Alright Jess?" I smiled.
"Yeah, you allowed out?" She asked me.
"One sec, gran, can I go out?" I shouted over to her.
"Where to?" She shouted back.
"Just to the park with Jess" I called over to her.
Yeah go on then" She replied.
"Thanks gran" I shouted back over to her, closing the door behind me.
"So what you wanna do?" I asked her.
"Just chill out" She laughed.
"Same!" I agreed.
"Is your Mum working?" She questioned me.
"Yeah" I told her sadly.
"I won't ask you about her cos I know you don't like talking about her" She answered.
"Thanks Jess" I smiled gratefully.
"It's no bother" She replied.
