"Tell me again why I have to do this guard training? I'm not even going to be a guard" I exclaimed at my dad as he had me training
"I want you to be safe" he said calmly as I rolled my eyes and ducked to avoid getting hit in the head
"But..you see... I don't want to be late for work so.." I said as I kept swerving the punches.
"Besides I'm an engineer . I don't have a need for this training" I said
"Your mother wants you to be a doctor like her" he said as he stood to the side observing
"And you want me to be like you" I added as I got hit on my side
"What's so wrong for me to want you to follow in my footsteps?" He asked
"Because then mom will be sad when I chose to be a councilor and not a doctor." I told him as I got a hit in and I smirked
"You can be a doctor and councilor at the same time" he said as I started getting the upper hand against the guard
"I like being an engineer though" I said as I knocked the guard on the ground.
"Another win for me. No surprise there eh Eddy?" I told him as I smacked his arm as he chuckled
