Tears to Shed
From the Corpse Bride soundtrack

"I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain

If you cut me with a knife it's still the same

And I know her heart is beating

And I known that I am dead

Yet the pain here that I feel

Try and tell me it's not real

For it seems that I still have a tear to shed

If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain

In the ice or in the sun it's all the same

Yet I feel my heart is aching

Though it doesn't beat it's breaking

And the pain here that I feel

Try and tell me it's not real

I know that I am dead

Yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed"

*1 month later*

"Leo!" I yelled as I tripped over one of her shoes

"Can you please for the love of the ark clean up after yourself!?" I yelled as I kicked away at her shoe

"Sorry we all didn't have maids for a year." She said as I mocked her as I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

"I wasn't done!" Leo said as she pounded on the door as I continued to brush my teeth

"Hey girls! I already got a noise complaint from the neighbors." Dad said as I opened the door and looked at him.

"Because of us or you?" I asked with a raised eyebrow as Lucas laughed in the living room

"Good one Lydie!" He said as my dad huffed

"Just keep it down." He said as he walked away as I went over to the sink and rinsed out my mouth.

"We need to break away from the ark." Leo said

"I know we do. That's what I'm working on." I said as I brushed my hair.

"Hey Lydia." Lucas said as he leaned against the bathroom door frame

"Since you're leading the Ark expansion how long do you think it'll be before we start building?" He asked

"Not for another couple of months. There's a lot of things that I have to look into." I said as I put my hairbrush down.

"Are we still on for lunch?" I asked as he nodded

"Okay well Leo have fun with Amir. And I'll see you at lunch." I told them as I exited the bathroom we were having our meeting at and put my gun in its holster.
