I washed the blood off my hands as the water went from clear to red.
"You did what you had to do Lydia." Lexa said softly as I heard the tent flaps open.
"Now we can discuss a truce." Clarke said as I kept washing my hands
"Not yet." Lexa said
"What do you mean not yet. You said that after Finn died we can discuss the truce." Abby spoke up as I dried my hands
"The body must be given to the people of Tondc." Lexa explained
"No. Haven't we done enough. The boy belongs with his people. He deserves to be buried by his people." I heard my dad speak as I threw the towel on the table as I turned to them as I saw Clarke look at me
"Then I guess you don't want the truce as badly as I thought you did." Lexa said
"Fine. When do we leave?" Clarke asked as Abby looked at Clarke
"Right now." Lexa said
"Pick your attendants." Lexa said as she looked at me and nodded as we both left the tent without a second look. It killed me not being able to run up to my dad and to tell him that I was alive and sorry for the things I've done.
"How long will we be in Tondc?" I asked Lexa
"A day if everything goes well." Lexa said
"I'll pack for a day then." I said
"Who will we be taking?" I asked
"Gustus and Indra of course. Some advisors and our guards." Lexa said as I could see our tent up ahead. I saw as most of the grounders were tucked away in their tents. The only ones up were the ones who were on patrol.
I walked inside our tent and grabbed a small bag. I put two shirts and two pants inside for Lexa and I. I put a couple of other things before I zipped it up and Lexa took it.
