I literally ran upstairs to get ready, as I reached the top of the stairs Zack was coming round the corner,

“Steady there girl, what’s the rush?”

“Oh um, I’m going out with a friend…” I answered awkwardly playing with my fingers,

“Which friend?” He asked with a protective look on his face. I didn’t know if I should tell him, but he wouldn’t mind.

“Alex…”

“Oh,” he said with a grin on his face, “have fun. But not too much fun!”

“Ew Zack.” I said seriously shaking my head.

I changed into my Glamour Kills hoodie and tied up my hair. I swear to god the only clothing in my closest was Glamour Kills, JAGK or Amerrickan, I was like marketing or something, but I liked it, the clothes were awesome! I made my way down the stairs, I heard Zack talking, must be on the phone,

“So how are you Alex?” Wait what, Alex? I just stood on the stairs, and listened to what they were saying, it would be awkward to just walk down in the middle of their conversation.

“Good thanks man, you?”

“Good-good, so what are Emily and you getting up to tonight?” Oh shit, great question to ask Zack, kudos,

“Oh hey Alex! We should be going, cya Zack!” I ran past Zack, grabbing Alex’s hand making our way through the door,

“Okay then, cya Em…” he replied sounding very confused.

The drive to Taco Bell was pretty quiet, I kept flicking through the radio stations trying to find a song,

“Maybe it’s not my weekend, but it’s going to be my year.” Of course All Time Low came on the radio,

“God man you’re everywhere now!” I stated, breaking the silence,

“Well you know, we’re totally a big deal now.” He answered flicking his hand in a diva-like motion.

When we arrived at Taco Bell we went down and sat right at the back of the restaurant,

“Oh and by the way, thanks for carrying me up to my room last night.” I said out of the blue, Alex choked on his food,

“You were awake?...” He asked blushing a little, I just nodded. It went silent for a moment before Alex added,

“Then why didn’t you carry your own fatass up stairs?!” Laughing at what he’d just said,

“Why would I, when I knew if I acted asleep someone would carry me? And you wouldn’t wake me if I was asleep would you?” I asked pouting, giving him the puppy-dog eyes,

“Well-Uh-…Hm, I guess not. You’re a smart one Emily Jade Merrick.”

We continued talking for a good hour or so.

“So Em, last night when I was in your room, god that sounds creepy aha,” he started, “I noticed you had a framed picture of me and you at the first All Time Low gig…”

“Oh you saw that, ehehe…” I could feel myself blushing.

“I didn’t know you kept that photo, or even remembered that night, it feels like so long ago!”

“Yeah it does. But it was an awesome night, we had a good time.” That night of the first All Time Low gig Alex was shitting his pants before they were about to go on.

~Flashback~

“You know what, I don’t think I want to be in a band anymore.” He mumbled, he was all over the place, bouncing off the walls with stage fright.

“Dude don’t worry you’ll be fine!” I reassured him, holding his arms by his side,

He calmed down slightly,

“You sure?” He asked biting his lip looking out towards the stage,

“You have an amazing voice, a great band and let’s be honest, you’re god damn sexy the fans won’t care if your music sucks!” he punched me in the arm as Flyzik walked past,

“Common guys we’re on in like, damn, NOW!” he yelled pushing the guys out onto stage. Alex grabbed my head, kissing me on the forehead,

“Love ya.” He answered, in a friendly/sisterly way as he ran onto stage, the crowd screamed so loud it was unbelievable.

After their gig Alex ran straight up to me wrapping his arms me tightly,

“Agh!” he growled cutely, “You were right, they loved us!”

“I’m always right dumbass!” I yelled, hugging him back

“Yes you are.” He replied picking me up and twirling me round.

“SMILE!” I heard someone yelled from next to us, Jack with his phone out, Alex (still hugging me) pulled a big cheesy grin and I did the same.

“Yeah we did, I couldn’t of gone on if you weren’t there.” He said as a smile grew across his face,

“You’re just saying that.” I giggled, slightly blushing again,

“No, no, I mean it.” He answered back, glancing at the table then back to me. Our eyes locked for a few moments, his deep brown eyes staring back into mine, but it only lasted a little longer before he broke the stare by saying that we should go before it gets too late.
