"That made me think about how much you hated him, so I knew it couldn't have been a good reunion."
- Xavier

The next weekday, which happened to be Monday, seemed like it would never come. Sunday was just painfully slow, and I felt like how Nathan felt the day he found out about me liking him. I understand his outrage, and if anything, mine is way bigger.

"So, I didn't get to talk to you yesterday." Roman brought up, leaning against the lockers that were beside mine. He had a three-a-day yesterday for baseball, so I wasn't upset that he didn't call me at all. "I'm surprised that I'm even here today, too."

I turned to him with furrowed eyebrows, "Why do you say that?" then I questioned him.

"I'm so sore, like my shoulders from batting, and my thighs from base running. Three-a-day practices should be banned, it's like physical abuse." He joked, which caused me to laugh. I gestured for him to turn around, and he did so without even asking me why. I began to give Roman a massage, multiple profanities stringing from out of his mouth.

I could tell that it was what he needed, so I continued, until we were interrupted. "Two-a-day?" Xavier questioned, doing that typical male handshake with Ro. He corrected him, and when he did, Xay's face soured. If I'm not mistaken, the boy plays basketball, they're the only males in our group that play a sport.

"C'mon, let's go to class." Roman suggested, reaching out for my hand so that I could walk with him and Xavier.

"I'll catch up to you guys, let me get my books from out of my locker." I told, waving goodbye to the two, while turning the dial on my lock. When it popped open, I couldn't help but realize that a folded paper hung from one of the hooks within it. I didn't remember writing myself anything last Friday, so I was a bit confused.

Grabbing it, I opened up the notebook paper, and saw that it was a printed note, which read:

"I know about what happened between you and Nathan at the pool. Tell Roman, or I'll tell him tonight at 8."

What the fuck, who typed this, better yet, who saw? I couldn't even begin to think about who it could've been, because I had too many thoughts running through my mind. The only people from school that were invited to the vowel renewal were mine, and a few of Nathan's. That's collectively 8 people, so with that being said, I had my work cut out for me.

Just then, someone came up behind me, it being Asher. I flinched back, and hid the note upon instinct. But when it finally sunk in that it was only him, I eased up. "Holy fuck, dude, you can't come up behind people like that." I chuckle nervously, while running a hand through my blonde hair.
