"I miss you, okay?"
- Eli

It was officially Wednesday, a day in which I thought would run smoothly. Everything had ran smoothly yesterday, so it was natural for me to want to keep up the flow. But, that thought was immediately proved wrong when there was a knock on our classroom door. Our teacher stopped teaching in order to go answer it.

Farrah leaned in from her stool, "I bet it's Mrs.Welsh, following up after their little ... bathroom boogie," and cracked a joke. "custodian quickie?"

"Quickie starts with a Q, not a C." I corrected with a smile, and leaned back over our lab table. But before I could continue looking through the textbook, our teacher made an announcement.

"Guys! Mr.Succhard's class is going to be joining us for today's class. It got ahead of me, but I forget to tell y'all that we'll be having a presenter halfway through class, which is," The blonde checked his watch. "now, would you look at that."

"Oh, what I would give to suck hard Mr.Succhard." Farrah whispered, causing me to laugh.

Everyone started to whisper at the fact that they may be able to sit near their friends. I on the other hand knew that I didn't have anybody worth getting excited over in there, so I was just waiting for this to be over. But before I could even think to start minding my own business, my waist was tapped.

Turning around, I viewed Eli, who had a wide smile plastered across his face. It made my insides boil, this being the first time I've came face to face with him since the fight. "Hey bestie, mind if I sit with you?" He asked, and it was sort of rhetoric since he pulled up a chair anyway.

"You have some nerve, Eli, what the fuck do you think you're doing?" I question.

"I just don't like how we left things off, I said some things that were out of line and untrue, I just want to be friends." The brunette confessed from next to me, but I wasn't buying it. So I scoffed, and looked down at my textbook to show that I wasn't interested. He couldn't understand that, so he tapped on my shoulder.

"Look, I know I may seem insincere–"

"That, and a lot of other things." I interrupt.

"I miss you, okay? I've realized that I've blown any shot that I could've possibly had, so I just want us to be civil."

Without looking up, I gave his request some thought. Imagine saying that someone has whack pussy, calling them a bitch, and then fighting not only their brother, but their best friend. Eli was a mess, and there was no fixing what he did to me, and how he reacted. I wouldn't mind giving friendship a try, but I know that probably wouldn't sit well with Roman nor Nathan.

Who both love having the upper hand in my life.

"I'll think about it." I truthfully promise.
