The two of you would spend most of the evenings in the tunnels with your boards and skates, jumping over pipes, griding on the metal as you travel down them and sending sparks flying behind you. It had only been a month since you met him and his family but it already felt like you were part of it. His brothers would tease him mercilessly since he always volunteered to walk you home.
Given the fact that the night was a form of cover for him, you two took the advantage at the nearest skate park without having to worry about onlookers that may want to have a closer look at Mikey. You'd skate until early morning around 2 am before you finally released your first yawn of the day.
"Let's get you home, angel."
Once to your apartment he would do the honors of holding onto you while you clung to his back. Mikey climbs the fire escapes until he reached your floor. The turtle then gently helps you onto the balcony and waits until you're safely inside to lock the door.
His smile grows fondly as Mikey waves goodbye to you.
