Everything's gonna be alright. In the end we will be together. Forever! Till the very end!

three months later

We visited Belgium during the Il Volo tour and my family visited us here in Italy. No one was really sad because everyone realized moving to Italy was the best decision I ever made in my life. The family of Gianluca could really get along with my family and even Carlotta's family, Piero's family and Ignazio's family were invited one night to have fun together. We were one big family, although a lot of us weren't really family.

During the tour in Europe I followed Gianluca everywhere. He didn't complain. He loved my company and the other boys from Il Volo said they never saw Gianluca so happy. And that made me the happiest girl ever. I loved to make him feel like that. He deserved to be happy, especially because he was a wonderful person. He still gave money to charities, most of the time to the same orphan house as three months earlier.

Liene had finally found her true love too so she didn't feel so often lonely anymore. Because after my departure, she often called me to say she missed me and she was bored without me in the house. Luckily for my parents, her boyfriend was Belgian. He lived only ten minutes away from where I used to live when I still was in Belgium.

Me and Gianluca lived now in his beautiful apartment in Abruzzo, not so far from Jonas and Carlotta, who was apparently pregnant. That went fast! So Gianluca was going to be uncle soon and I would be a fantastic aunt, or at least I hoped so.

To buy beautiful little presents for my future niece, I had to find a job. Even though Gianluca said he had money enough to pay for it. But I wanted a little job too. I didn't want to become a lazy person. Since nothing failed anymore, I immediately found a job for only a few days, not even the same days, every week. It were very flexible hours, so I never really had problems with my boss when I said I couldn't come for a few days, or in this case probably weeks.

It really couldn't get better anymore. Or that was what I thought because a week ago, Gianluca made me the happiest 'happiest girl' in the world.

We arrived at the same place as almost three months ago, 'to look to the stars!' he told me. "What? You litteraly meant that we are going to watch to the stars?" I shouted excited when I saw a big telescope standing in the sand. "Yes," he giggled mysteriously. "Take a look," he said pointing toward the telescope. "Wow, this is unbelievably beautiful!"

"Indeed," he said, "that's why I decided to..." he paused, apparently changing his mind about what he was going to say first. "I know one little star is not enough to tell you how much I love you. And I know you didn't really ask for it. I also know the only thing you need is..."he giggled again, "...me. But I couldn't stop from bying you a real star this time. That's it!"

I was surprised, but happy. "Wow, just when I think it couldn't be better, you come up with a next surprise. And not just some flowers." I smiled to him, looking him deep in his gorgeous eyes. "I see where you keep the star. For sure it's in your eyes somewhere, cuz they shine so beautifully!"

"No you're wrong." He looked through the telescope to find the star I guess. "I found it! Take a look." Gianluca explained me where I had to look. And yes I found it. Not really different from other stars, but it was a very special feeling to see my own star up in the sky, very close next to the moon.

"How is it called?" I asked curious. Gianluca took my both hands, I couldn't look through the telescope anymore, only in his eyes. "It's called..." and then he did something unexpected. At least on that moment. But when I afterwards thought about it, I really should've known he was going to kneel down in front of me, his hands now taking a small box out of his pocket.

"...Aline De Smedt, do you want to marry me?" I immediately started giggling and crying at the same time. Crying from happiness of course, because I really wanted to be his principessa forever! So I said "I do!" very convinced about this sudden decision.

And so prince charming, Gianluca Ginoble, and his principessa, Alina De Smedt, lived happily ever after. Or not?

THE END

Thank you everyone who read the story! Especially the few persons who read every chapter!!!  Grazie mille!
I really loved writing this. And it's the first story I really finished. So I'm proud of it. And a special thanks to my english teachers back in highshool. Haha. And thank you Il Volo of course! For the inspiration. :D

Maybe someday I will write a sequel. Or I also was thinking about writing a Piero Barone fanfiction. I already made a short story about Piero. Feel free to read that too.

update 21/05/2016: I started writing the sequel :D Feel free to read it. It's called 'Memories In Italy' and it's about love (of course) and some dramatic or maybe even mysterious things will happen!

Ciao

C.
