~Nine~

I've been dating Mikey for about two weeks now. Ash and Cal don't know about us, we're keeping it quiet.

I'm having a Duvet Day with Mikey today. We're cuddled up in my bed, the TV is on and we're watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I'm cuddling into his bare chest as his arm is wrapped around me and his hand is playing with my hair.

"What do you want for lunch Khy?" he suddenly asks. I look at him and smile "what did you have in mind?" I smirk knowing what his answer will be. "Pizza!" He grins. I laugh, I knew that was coming. "You order it then" I kiss him on the lips quickly. He smiles "let me up then" he chuckles.

I get off his chest and let him get out the bed. He goes downstairs to order some pizzas.

I take the chance to quickly take a look at myself in the mirror and fix up my hair and face a bit.

He comes back in and smiles at me "you did your hair and make-up just to lie in bed with me?" he smirks. I blush. He laughs and climbs in beside me "cute" he remarks as he plants a kiss on my forehead.

I cuddle into him and smile "I don't understand why you want to be with me Mikey". He places his hand under my chin and makes me look at him "because I want to protect you and care for you and be there for you whenever you need me and you're amazing Khy. Any guy would be lucky to have you" he smiles softly and kisses me. I kiss back and smile against his lips.

The doorbell interrupts us downstairs "I'll go" Mikey says as he gets out the bed and throws a shirt on. He gets $20 out his wallet and goes downstairs. He soon comes back with two Pizza boxes and lays them on top of the duvet.

Mikey is about to get back in bed when I raise my eyebrows at him. He sighs and laughs "you want me to take it off again?" he smirks. I nod "you look better without it" I wink. He laughs and takes his shirt off before getting in the bed.

After Lunch we get dressed and decide to go out for a walk. We go to the park near my house and just hang out, sharing a bottle of Cider between us and talking about complete crazy shit.

Mikey text Cal and Ash, so they met us in the park and brought some more Cider. We all then went back to Mikey's, we watched some films. As usual I spent most of my time cuddled into Mikey. We were starting to get funny looks from the guys though.

Ash made us some dinner later after saying we shouldn't be eating pizza all the time. It was okay. Don't think Cal and Mikey approved though!

We watched some more films then and played some Pool and Darts later in Mikey's Man Cave. Ash and Cal left later, leaving me and Mikey alone.

"I should probably get home soon" I say. He smiles and plays with a strand of my hair "or... You could stay here?"

I smile "you sure?", he nods. We go up to his room and he finds me an old 'Nirvana' shirt to sleep in. I get changed in his bathroom and leave him to change in his bedroom.

The shirt smells of him, I like it but it does feel a little strange wearing a boy's shirt that isn't Luke's. "Okay?" Mikey asks when I come into his room. I nod and smile. "You look good in that" He winks. I blush. He smiles "come on then" he pats his bed.

I get into his double bed and cuddle into him. He kisses me softly "Khy?" he looks a little serious for the first time in weeks. "Yea?" I answer. "Tell me what you really feel for me? I'm just curious".

"I feel like it's all brand new. I don't know what I'm doing but it feels right. You make me feel safe and I'm comfortable around you. You're my security net and I fear that I'd fall without you..." I stop when I notice the frown on his face. "What's the matter?" I ask. He shakes his head "it doesn't matter I was just hoping you'd say something that's all...just me being stupid" he sighs and rolls over so he's not facing me. I kiss the back of his shoulder "Mikey? Please, you're not stupid".

He looks at me "I just wanted to hear something but it's just me being silly, it's too early for you. I shouldn't rush it..." He half smiles "can we go out tomorrow?"

I nod "where?", he smiles "you'll see". I laugh "night Mikey" I kiss his lips gently. He kisses back "night babe". I smile for a minute, that's the first time he's used a cute name for me.

The following day Mikey and I went into the city. He took me to our park with the big tree where we hung out a while ago. We sat in the big Oak and talked, we laughed, we joked. It was really fun.

"Khy?" He smiles at me. I nod at him. "Uh, y'know we're dating, well..." He looks at his hands and bites his lip nervously. "What Michael?" I smile. "Uh, would you officially be my girlfriend? I mean we can still take it slow if you want and the guys don't have to find out yet and..." I kiss him to shut him up "I will" I smirk, he smiles.

I grin and link my fingers in between his. I feel happy with him, he's not Luke and will never replace him but he has filled a big part of the gaping hole inside me that was left when Luke died.
