"I hate periods!" I said burying my face into the my pillow. "It's only for a week." Evelyn said. "Yeah, I know. I only have two more days! Whoo-hoo." I said lazily. Evelyn's phone buzzed. "I have to get going, Travis needs me." I stood up and left. I lazily got off my bed and went downstairs. "Where's my phone?" I asked myself and looked in the kitchen for it. I eventually found it in a drawer.
I saw I got texts from Jacob. I guess he's coming in 5 minutes. I quickly changed out of my pjs and into some shorts and a tee-shirt. Once he came he started driving in the direction of our old school. "Why are you drive to our old school?" I asked. "Just wait." He said. I crossed my arms and huffed.
We finally got to our old high school and we got out of the car. "Why are we here?" I asked. He turned to me. "This is were I fell in love with you. You have been through so much. Now we can go through it together." He got down on one knee. I started tearing up, then he pulled out a small black box and opened it. "Dakota, will you marry me?" My eyes were so watery, his face was blurry.
"Yes!"
