Connor's Point of View
It's been four days and Haley hasn't woken up yet. We're really worried sick especially Riley. He's been here in the hospital all the time. After school, in the afternoon and evening, even in the morning. He gets up earlier just to visit her. Today, I sent him home, since he's tired and sleepless.
Toby and I were trying to get a high score in a game on our phones when Thomas and Vanessa entered the room. A few minutes after, Colin and Gavin arrived.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"Visiting, Haley?" Thomas replied with a 'duh' tone.
"I know, but all at the same time?"
"We didn't planned this." Vanessa said.
"Anyways, you're all here." I turned Colin and Gavin. "Haven't seen you guys for a long time, what's up?"
"Nothing much." Colin answered.
"Yeah. Breaking up with his long-time girlfriend is nothing." Gavin added.
"You broke up with Zoey?!" Toby reacted.
Collin nodded.
"Don't worry. There's still a lot of girls." I encouraged.
The food available failed to satisfy our hunger, so Thomas and Gavin went to buy pizza for us.
Suddenly, I saw Haley's finger moving.
"Haley?" and her eyes opened slowly.
"She's awake! Guys, call the doctor, please." I ordered. Colin and Vanessa ran outside. "How you feeling, Hale?"
"Where am I?" she asked and stared at me and Toby. "Who are you?"
"You can't remember us?"
She nodded.
The doctor and nurses rushed in followed by dad. I called Riley up.
"Dude!"
"Hey, dude. What's going on? Everything alright?" he replied.
"Haley."
"What happened to her?" he asked with a worried and terrified voice.
"She's awake!"
"That's great!"
"Will you go here?"
"I...will...not"
"Why?"
"I can't." he answered briefly. "I'll see you at home." And he hanged up.
"Weird guy." I mumbled to myself.
The doctor exited and said we could now enter.
I forgot to ask him about Haley's amnesia.
"Dad, when can we take Haley home?" Toby asked.
"Tomorrow. The doctors still have to run some tests and make sure she'll be stable." He answered. "Right now, try to talk to her about things. I still have work to do. I'll be back later, okay?"
"Okay, bye, Dad."
The four of us approached Haley.
"Can you remember us now?" Toby asked.
"Uhm..."
"Do you remember your name?"
"Taylor Swift?" she joked.
