At that moment, I felt heartbroken and wretched. I wanted to punch him
with all my might. I just wanted to kick him as hard as I could for
treating me like a piece of trash. Just like a crumpled up ball of
paper. I tried to swallow all of these painful feelings.

"What's with that long face?" he grinned as he looked at me. He was
looking more handsome than ever with his black, three-piece suit he
had been wearing, as well as the expensive citizen watch on his manly
wrist. His thick, long, brown hair covered his forehead. He was
twirling and brushing it through his hands. His blue eyes stared into
mine constantly. My mouth had dropped and I rolled my eyes constantly
to avoid a possibly awkward situation. I don't know why I was looking
at him in that sense, even after what he had done to me. Obviously,
any woman who was to see him at this moment would have high levels of
hormones and goose bumps.

"Everything you need is provided for you, and butler will be with you
to keep you company. I hope you will be okay because I'll be busy with
my meetings, so don't call me." He said picking up the last bag and
throwing it into the car, he was patiently waiting for my reply.

"Fine, I won't call you because I have other things to do instead of
calling you," I replied to him sarcastically and rushed to the main
entrance leaving him still and annoyed.

I could see his face become red with anger and he quickly ordered the
driver to take him to the airport. I was still on the gate watching
his car. I wanted to see him because he wouldn't be returning until
after a week has passed. The car quickly left and the last thing I
heard was the loud noise of the engine taking off like a rocket.

"Bye, ice man," I said to myself in a low voice. Butler came and asked
if I needed anything, as well as if I wanted to have dinner.

"No thanks, I'll be going upstairs. Could you please bring me a cup of
coffee? I'll be on the terrace." I told butler and went upstairs into
my room. I felt like I had already begun to miss Walter as I passed by
his locked room. I had no one to talk to because Jennie was in Germany
for her honeymoon, John was out of the city, and Ella was in Mexico to
attend an international meeting. I entered my room, which was quite
messy and dusty because I hadn't been home for a week, then I quickly
cleaned it up and went to take a refreshing shower. The whole time I
thought about how I was going to stay here for a week without him, and
I became afraid of sleeping alone at night without having anyone near
my room. I swallowed hard, and as the cold water sprinkled on my face,
I felt like I needed to wash these terrifying thoughts out of my mind.
I quickly dried myself and went up to the terrace to sit on the chair
near the wall.

I was still thinking about my shitty and boring life married to
Walter. I had tried almost everything, but it seemed as if his heart
really was made of ice, and I just can't get through it. Those walls
he had built up, no one can break through them and make him human
again.

"Mistress, your coffee," suddenly, Butler came out of nowhere, and I
almost screamed out of fear.

"Goodness! You scared me half to death," I said, taking a deep breath.
I was trying to control the fear of being alone.

I took a sip of my coffee and relaxed on the chair. I stared at the
sky, which was almost full of stars, and the moon gleaming like it had
never done before. I became lost in the beauty of the sky and I just
sat there staring for what seemed like an eternity.

"Shall I leave?" butler came forward and looked at me.

"No way! You'll be with me throughout this whole week, you won't leave
me for a minute." I guess I came off as a bit creepy, judging by his
facial expressions.
