................................................................................

You fiddled with the frayed edges of the old chair you sat in. Tall bookshelves surrounded you, piles spilling off of the shelves to cover the floorboards. There were books shoved in every nook and cranny, after all, it is Levy's room.

You sat across from the bookworm in her dorm at Fairy Hills. She was already done translating "The Prophecy of Fire and Ice" and was ready to tell you what she had found. This is it, you thought. If Zaro was telling the truth, if everyone you love really is destined to die... You took a deep breath. This is it.

"Sorry it took me so long to translate," she apologized.

"You've had it for less than twenty four hours!" You gaped.

"I know, it was written in a really weird language. You see, the lexicons were actually-" you coughed. "Oh right, the story." She blushed slightly,"I'll try to make it short,"

"Well, as the titles says, it's about fire and ice. They're sworn enemies but decide they want to overcome their differences. The problem is that fire and ice are natural enemies. When they try to come together, it doesn't work and they end up causing mass destruction." You tried to hold back tears, it was sounding a lot like what Zaro had said. You tried to stay calm long enough to have a proper conversation with her.

"So why is it called the Prophecy of Fire and Ice?" You asked, trying to sound unconcerned.

"From what I can tell, it's not so much a story, it's actually something that is destined to happen." Levy explained warily. You tried to control your breathing. You could feel your pulse accelerating to an unnatural speed as you tried to hide your fear.

"(F/n), are you okay?" She asked.

You gulped. Now that you knew Zaro wasn't lying what would you do with the information? Did you tell Levy? What about Gray? Makorav had to know, but how would you tell him? How would the others react to this? If it's true, which it seems to be, what can the guild do? How can you stop it if you don't even know what it is? Can you stop it? What if it's already too late? No, you can't think like that, you told yourself, not right now. Stay focused, you have to stop this.

You take a deep breath. "What did you mean when you said 'mass destruction?'" You asked, not bothering to answer her previous question. Levy bit her lip.

"It's talking about a war."

Grim thoughts swarmed in your mind. You felt like you had when Zaro had encased you in his void magic; like the all the air was taken from your lungs and the only thing left in the world was darkness . Feelings of fear and helplessness were overwhelming. Levy must have noticed your expression.

"(F/n)," Levy began nervously,"what do you know about this book?" You looked down so she couldn't see your face. "Because when people ask me to translate things, it's usually something important," the blue haired mage continued cautiously. She waited for you to say something, but you just kept your head down.

"Do you think it's about you?" Her voice was low. You stared at your knees intently, as if they held the answer to all of this. Even with all this information, it still didn't make sense. How could any of this happen? A war? What did that mean?
