Beth steps out of the car
Beth - What happened?
Len - You know what bloody happened Mrs Abbott! You crashed your husband's car into mine
Beth - Oh my, however, did that happen?
Brian - I think I better get you inside love
Brian starts to guide Beth away as Len follows them
Len(angry) - Look I don't know what sort of game she's playing trying to pretend she doesn't know what she did but I expect you to take responsibility for this and pay the damages
Brian - We will Len. I just think its better if we discuss this in the morning when we're all calmer eh
Brian leads Beth inside

Kath opens the door again
Kath (angry) - You have some nerve coming here asking for my help Latham! We were hardly friends were we?
Chrissie - Look Kath I know and I'm bleeding sorry for being such a bitch in the past, but please I need your help, I'm begging you
Kath closes the door again and looks at Chrissie
Kath - You know if the police find out you're here I'm at risk of going back to prison too, don't you? But I don't suppose that would matter to someone as selfish as you
Chrissie - Look I know but come on who is going to think to check here? No one knows I have this address and they are hardly going to even consider looking here. It's like you said we were never friends. And I know Fletch isn't here, I saw him leave earlier so if you think about it this is the perfect place for me to hideout
Kath - How exactly did you get hold of this address anyway?
Chrissie - That neighbor of yours, Shanice is it? She gave it to me
Kath (angry) - That'll be right. That bitch would do anything to cause trouble for me and Jim
Chrissie - So can I stay or not?
Kath - You can stay for two nights and that's it. Jim is back Sunday night and you need to be gone by then
Chrissie nods her head
Chrissie - I will be

Beth is sitting at the kitchen table as Brian brings her a hot drink
Brian - Maybe now you'll finally take this more seriously, and accept that you need help
Beth - But no one was hurt, love
Brian- Only by sheer luck, they easily could have been and you know it....and now we'll have Len on our backs for money
Beth chuckles
Beth- Well that's not an issue either is it? We're both very solvent after all!
Brian looks exasperated
Brian - You need to stop treating this like a joke and see a dr about it. We've left it long enough now
Beth - Ok so I'll make an appointment first thing Monday morning how does that sound? Let's get the weekend out of the way and concentrate on our special day tomorrow and then I'll get it sorted on Monday
Brian - You promise? Because I'm not going to back down this time
Beth - Yes love I promise
Beth looks at the clock
Beth - Oh good heavens, look at the time! It's nearly midnight. We must get some sleep now we have so much to get ready for tomorrow!
Beth gets up and kisses Brian on the cheek
Beth - Goodnight love!
Beth leaves the troubled-looking Brian alone in the kitchen

Cheryl - Mrs Morris probably isn't in today but I think Lisa is so we'll ask if we can see her after breakfast
Peta nods her head
Kelly and Louise are sitting at another table looking over
Kelly - I don't buy her change of heart. One minute she wants to take me on and the next she suddenly wants no more trouble
Louise - I wouldn't be surprised if they are plotting something together
Kelly- Neither would i
Sandra and Leanne are sitting together. Leanne yawns
Sandra - You look wrecked love
Leanne - I feel one too. I couldn't get a wink of sleep last night. I just lay there for hours, stuff going round and round in my head
Sandra - Why don't you try and get your head down for a few hours today love?
Leanne - Won't the screws mind?
Sandra shakes her head
Sandra - It's the weekend, there is no work or anything. We pretty much just sit around all weekend so you may as well use the time to try and sleep, you look like you need it
Leanne yawns again
Leanne - Yes I'll try and sleep
