Sasha is sitting in the back of the van back to Wentworth. It is dark and dismal in the back as she smokes a cigarette. She quietly sobs, the judge's voice plays in her head

Judge - It's to your credit that you eventually decided to change your plea to guilty, although it would have served you better to have pleaded guilty right from the start, you created a lot of unnecessary hassle by failing to do so. Anyhow I will proceed now with sentencing... Sasha Cartwright, for the accidental death of Bill Longley by misadventure I sentence you to 6 years imprisonment, with 3 to be served before parole can be considered

Sasha smokes her cigarette and continues to sob
It is now revealed that Sasha is not alone in the van, two other women are there with her. One of the women looks in her early 40s and the other in her early 20s. They have a slight likeness to each other
The older woman speaks first
Woman - Can't ya stop ya noise? It's driving me mad
Sasha - I can't help it, I got 6 years today
Woman - And I don't care, it's annoying me!
The younger woman speaks
Younger woman - It's annoying me too!
Sasha - I don't give a shit whether it annoys you or not! You're both on the way to Wentworth right?
The older woman - Yes, I believe so
Sasha - Then I must warn you both, I am top dog so don't start by rubbing me up the wrong way, ok?
Younger woman - Top dog, really? You do not look tough enough to be a top dog to me
The older woman laughs
The older woman - I agree, no way are you a top dog, sat there weeping like a baby!
Sasha - I had a nasty shock today that's all, I will bounce back quickly
The older woman - Sure love! Well, I'm sure you are someone to be scared of!
The two women continue to laugh
Sasha - Please don't continue to wind me up, I have given you a fair warning
The older woman - Well anyway let me introduce myself. I am Lorraine Dawson and this is my daughter Hannah Dawson
Sasha - I was thinking you might be mother and daughter, you do look alike
Lorraine - Yeah, my Hannah is a beautiful lady just like her mother!
Sasha - What are you both going to prison for?
Hannah - Mum and I are partners in crime!
Lorraine - Yes, a double act!
Sasha - What crimes do you commit?
Lorraine - Robberies on men, we steal their wallets and things like that!
Hannah - Yeah, we get hold of their credit cards and so on!
Sasha - How do you do it?
Hannah - It's easy, one of us seduces the man and takes his attention away. Chat him up, kiss and touch him, and so on. While one of us is doing that the other is busy robbing him blind
Lorraine - We have nothing against them personally and we feel sorry for the men, we'd happily do it to women too but we'd have to find lesbians to do it too!
Sasha - How smart, but your luck ran out did it?
Lorraine sighs
Loraine - Well most sadly, yes. We were on to a really good thing but eventually, we were caught. Occupational hazard!
Sasha - And how long did you get?
Lorraine - Three years each, I tried to ask them to be lenient on my dear Hannah. I tried to say I led my girl astray
Hannah - But I refused to let mum do it, I wanted us both to do the same sentence it's only fair. I couldn't let mum do three years on her own
Lorraine - And I am proud of you darling
Sasha - Three years is not so bad anyway. You will be out long before that with good behavior. For me, I must serve a minimum of three before they will even consider me for parole

The van arrives back at Wentworth and Meg and Sue are waiting as the three of them are let out
Meg - So you're back Cartwright?
Sasha - Yes, I'm back alright...for at least three years!
Meg - You know your way in
Sasha - Yes
Sasha moves off inside
Meg turns to the other two
Meg - You two follow us in
Meg begins to walk away back to the prison
Hannah seems a bit hesitant, and reluctant. She hangs back with her mother
Sue - Will we have the pleasure of your company today then or not?
Hannah - Miss, I'm sorry. I feel a little scared!
Lorraine comforts her daughter
Lorraine - Don't be scared darling, I am with you remember? I will look after you
Lorraine guides Hannah off inside. Sue walks along with them
Lorraine (to Sue) - She's my daughter
Sue - Oh I see. First-timers?
Lorraine - She is yes, me no. I've been inside a few times already
They arrive at reception where Meg is already inducting Sasha
Sue - You two will stand in the line and wait until Mrs Morris has finished with Cartwright. She will then deal with you both
Lorraine - Yes Miss...come on love let's stand on the line as she said
The two of them stand in the line to wait their turn
Meg - .....Is that correct?
Sasha - Yes, that's correct
Meg - Come with me to the showers, then we will get you fitted with your uniform
Meg and Sasha move off toward the shower
Meg - It says here you pleaded guilty in the end?
Sasha - Yes, that's right
