(WARNING: Negligence)

Five years have passed since the Grassis learned about the youngest son is indeed an Omega. He has every little trait that that Omegas usually have. Shyness, obedience, curiosity, and sweetness. He never got in trouble, but his parents never awarded him for it.

He could never understand why his older sister Jessa went to a place called school and he didn't. He couldn't understand why whenever it was bedtime, his parents reminded Jessa to take a bath or shower, but they didn't tell him that. He usually waited until Jessa was done. He couldn't understand why he was by himself for multiple times of the day.

He never got to know what is was like to hear the words 'I love you' because his parents, sister, or other family members never told him that.

~~~
Mitch woke up to see his mom reading a book that read 'Beta History: Around the World'. His mom and Jessa left every month for a test that was expected of Betas to take. He sat down, feeling his stomach rumble.
"Mommy?" He asked in a sweet voice, wanting his mom to look down at him. She turned around and sighed loudly.
"That's ma'am for you," she scolded, shaking her head. Mitch looked down, ashamed. "Make something. I'm busy."
Mitch nodded as he stood up, working into the kitchen. He grabbed a chair and opened the cabinet, getting a book of macaroni and cheese. He then got the necessary ingredients and a small sized pot and started cooking. As he was doing this, he couldn't help but wonder why that even though Jessa was seven years older than him, his parents helped her with everything.
Can't get something from the top shelf? His mom or dad got it for her. He had to get a chair.
Hungry? His mom or dad made sure that she was not hungry by making her something that could feed their whole neighborhood. He was told to make something that could barely feed one of his parents.
Sick? His mom and dad made sure that she got better the next day by giving her everything she needed and wanted. He was quarantined and had a bottle of medicine on his bed stand.
Love? His mom and dad gave her little kisses, hugs, and told her 'we love you' everyday. He never got to hear what that was like.
"Mitch!"
The child Omega then froze, the sound of his father scaring him. He turned around to see his father staring at him, his arms crossed and posture tensed. He looked away from his food for a minute. His own posture straightened up, his arms crossed back behind his back and his chest up.
"Yes, Daddy?" He began, making via father scoff and shake his head. Oh...
"It's Sir for you," his father repeated in the same voice mother used early. Mitch nodded, wanting a pair of parents that will love him unconditionally and not expect him to call them 'ma'am' or 'Sir'. Just Mommy and Daddy. He prayed every night to hear the words 'I love you' told to him. "Anyways, we're leaving. Don't screw anything up."
Mitch nodded as his father left him standing there. Jessa then came in, carrying a few bags. She looked at her brother, shaking her head. Mitch felt his heart break as she left and heard the car turn on. It drove off and he felt the feeling of negligence and isolation appear in his chest.
That's normal.
He then finished off his food and went into the dining room, sitting in his chair. He looked around, not liking the feeling of being left alone. He bit into his food, feeling like he was always going to be by himself. He then finished his food after an hour, washing his dishes and putting them in the dishwasher. He walked into the living room, turning on the T.V.
As the television was showing a commercial, he looked around the pictures that were on the walls. There were no pictures of him. He could never find out why. He shrugged as he turned back to the television, feeling a strange feeling rumble in his stomach. Only this time, it wasn't hunger or sickness. It was dread, it was worry. He tried to fend it off, but it don't go away.
Everything will be okay, right?
~~~

Nighttime came fast and Mitch did his nightly routine, wondering where his family is. They usually come back around this time. They probably spent the night. Jessa did bring her bags so he thought nothing of it. He went into his bed, hoping that has family will come home tomorrow. He was used to being alone for a couple of days.

They'll come back.

~~~
Mitch woke up someone ringing his doorbell. He got out of his bed, seeing that it was 5:35 in the morning. He tilted his head, wondering why people will knock so early in the morning. He then walked up to the door, opening it and felt surprise grow in his chest. It was a police man. An Alpha to be exact.
"Yes Sir?" He asked innocently, looking up at the tall man. The police man tried his best not to show his surprise because of how overly polite this little boy is. "Is everything okay?"
"I need you to go the police station with me," the officer answered, looking inside. Mitch felt his eyes widened. He was told that police people took people to the police station when they were in trouble. "You're not in trouble, I promise."
Mitch nodded as he offered his hand to he tall man. The police offices accepted the gesture, tilting a bit so the child could hold his hand. They got into his police car and Mitch got into the front seat, the seatbelt a couple inches above his head. He is super small for his age. The child felt his eyes get heavy and adjusted into a comfortable position.
"Go to sleep. I'll wake you up when we get there."
Mitch nodded as he closed his eyes, letting slumber take over him.
~~~

A couple hours passed and Mitch kicked his legs back and forth, wondering why he was here. He was only told to stay here. He then noticed a woman in red dress come up to him and she squatted in front of him, sighing sadly. These news were also hard to deliver.

"I'm so sorry," she began and Mitch tilted his head in response. What does she mean? "We found out at 5:00 this morning, your family left this area. We tried to follow them but lost track of them. Mitch, your family is no longer here."

"What does that mean?" Mitch questioned, feeling his heart get heavy. They have to come back.

"Your family is living somewhere else. I'm so sorry, Mitch. You will be living in an orphanage until you're nineteen. I'm so sorry."

That's when Mitch's heart broke entirely, unable to be fixed ever again.

Nobody loves me.
