Scott stared wide eyed at the Omega, wondering why in the world he would ever say that. Why would he accept a punishment? What did he even do?

"I'm confused," Scott admitted, staring at Mitch. The Omega then blinked, his eyes turning back to his beautiful brown. "What did you do?"

"I interrupted my mom," Mitch responded right away and spoke loudly, not wanting to get slapped again. He cleared his throat. "I need to be punished."

"He can't do that," Avi spoke up, shaking his head. Mitch then looked at him, not quite understanding what the other Alpha was saying. "Your mom is not in your Mate or anything else besides your mom. He can't punish you because you interrupted your mom. You're off the hook, kid."

"Okay," Mitch replied, still feeling bad. Why did I yell at her? I might be mad at her, but she is still my mom. "I...I'm sorry."

"You shouldn't be sorry," Kirstin spoke up as Kevin nodded in agreement. Mitch sighed sadly as he looked at re ground. "You had every right to yell at her."

"Okay," Mitch responded, still feeling bad. He let out a yawn and rubbed at his eyes. "May I take a nap? I'm sleepy."

"Of course," Scott answered, smiling when the Omega gave him a hug. Another flashback then intruded Scott's mind, making his heart break.

"Scott, give me a hug!"

"Why?"

"Because I love you? Because you're my Alpha? Because I'm cute?"

"Those are very good reasons. I guess I'll hug you."

"Scarecrow?"

"Yes, Dorothy?"

"Forever and forever?"

"Forever and forever."

Scott then let go, noticing how Mitch's smirk faltered. He didn't say anything though. Mitch then hugged everyone else and retreated to his and Scott's room, feeling exhaustion take over his small body. Scott then turned to Kirstin, who jumped when he did.

"I heard about the test," Scott started bluntly, putting his arms behind his back. Kirstin then looked down, ashamed of her bad grade. "You've never failed one before. What happened?"

"I didn't study," Kirstin replied honestly, remembering about the 'Betas never lie' rule. She sighed sadly as she looked up at Scott, her eyes turning yellow. "I...I've just been stressed out. I've been focusing on Mitch a lot. Guys, I've been like a mother for him since he came here and I feel like I need to focus on him."

"He's not your Mate, though," Kevin spoke up, look at the other Beta. The Alphas nodded as Kirstin looked at Kevin. "Yes, be like a mother to him, but don't focus on him all the time. That's Scott's job. You need to focus on Avi. He's your Mate. Yes, you can still treat Mitchy as a child, but stay focused on other things. We can't let you fail another test."

"Okay," Kirstin murmured, taking in the words. Kevin's right. She loves Mitch, but he has been taking away all her free time that she had to study for tests and other things. She felt more like his mother than his Pack member. "I guess you're right. Avi, could we go to the park? I need to talk to you."

"Of course," Avi replied, taking her hand. Kirstin smiled sadly as he did so and they walked to the door, waving goodbye. "We'll see you in a few. Take care."

Scott nodded his goodbye as the Alpha and Beta left. He then looked at Kevin, who liked deep in thought. Scott then cleared his throat, catching Kevin's attention.

"Should I tell Mitch about Alex?" Scott asked right away. Kevin widened his eyes, surprised that Alpha said that. Scott hasn't talked about Alex, especially to his own Pack. "I mean, he has every right to know."

"If you want to," Kevin answered, nodding slowly. He then put his hand on Scott's shoulder, shaking it gently. "Take all your time. Mitch does have the right to know, but you have the right to choose the time. Don't feel upset. Choose the right decision. Everything will be okay. I'm going to see Alyssa. I'll see you later."

Scott nodded and he smiled as Kevin left. The Alpha sighed loudly as he turned on the T.V, gasping quietly when Wizard of Oz turned on. It was at the part when Dorothy and the Scarecrow met. Scott then thought long and hard about it, trying to figure out if there was something trying to tell him something.

What does this mean?

FLASHBACK

Mitch went into the orphanage, staring at his surroundings. He has only been here for a month and he still feels lonely. The orphanage owner walked up to him, her stare cold and hard.

"Why did I have to get stuck with you? It's not my fault your parents left you for being an Omega," the orphanage owner scolded, shaking her head when Mitch looked down. "You're pathetic. I am ashamed to call you my nephew."

"I'm sorry, Auntie Margret."

She scoffed, leaving him by himself. He let the tears escape, still trying to figure out how the owner of the orphanage is his aunt. This kind of stuff does not happen.

"I'm sorry, Auntie. Please just love me."

She never did.

END

Mitch woke up, shaking at the dream. He is so happy that he left that horrible place. He then got out of the bed, stretching slightly. He walked out the room, noticing Scott by himself in the living room. He then walked to Alpha, smiling when he sat down next to him.

"Hi, Scotty," Mitch chirped cutely, hugging Scott. Scott smiled when he returned the hug and felt his heart warm up when the Omega snuggled into him. "I woke up from my nap! I don't feel tired anymore! How about you?"

"I'm fine," Scott answered, preparing to tell Mitch about who Alex was. The Alpha then grabbed the small childlike hands, rubbing his fingers over Mitch's knuckles. "Mitch, I need to tell you something."

"What is it, Prince Erik?" Mitch asked innocently, tilting his head. He then widened his eyes, dropping his jaw slightly. "Does my breath smell bad? I forgot to brush my teeth. I'm so sorry!"

"No, it's not that," Scott laughed, the reactions of the Omega cheering him up. He then became serious again, sighing sadly. "Mitch, there was some-."

The door slammed open, revealing an angry Avi, an emotional Kirstin, and a neutral Kevin. Kirstin then ran off to her room, sobbing loudly. Scott then turned to the other Alpha and Beta, confused.

"What's the matter?" Scott asked, his heart beating fast. Mitch then raised an eyebrow, wondering if Kirstin is okay. "What happened?"

"I cannot answer that," Kevin replied, shaking his head slightly.  He then walked off to his room, leaving the Alphas and Omega by themselves. Avi's eyes turned red, showcasing his anger and Scott stood up and grabbed the Alpha, wanting him to calm down.

"Tell me what happened, Avi," Scott demanded, his eyes turning red now. Avi turned to the Lead Alpha angrily, shrugging off the nice hand. "What happened?!"

Avi then took a deep breath, but that did not suppress his anger.  He then glared at Kirstin's room and stared back a Scott, revealing the news.

"Kirstin is leaving the Pack."
