Scott took a deep breath, trying his best not to punch anything. How dare she show up after fourteen years? What does she even want? If she wants to rekindle their relationship, she has to know that she will have to go through a 6'3 Alpha who will not hesitate to fight back.

"What does she want?" Scott asked, his loving blue eyes turning red instantly. Kirstin took a deep breath and wiped her eyes, shrugging her shoulders. "I swear, I'm going to hurt her or something. Why is she coming back after fourteen years?"

"That's what we're trying to find out," Kevin answered sadly. He sighed loudly as he went to his room. "She's coming tomorrow. There's nothing we can do. I'm so sorry."

Scott nodded at him and hugged Kirstin when another wave of tears ran down her face. Avi frowned slightly and ran his hand down her back.

"It's getting late, Kirst," Avi murmured in a loving tone as Scott released her. She nodded as the tears ran down her face slowly. "Everything's going to be okay."

She nodded as walked to her and Avi's room, quiet sobs and whimpers escaping from her. She closed the door and Scott cleared his throat, catching Avi's attention.

"Why is she crying?" Scott asked sadly, his heart heavy for the female Beta. Avi sat down, his heart breaking for his love. "Is it about Nel?"

"That and something else," Avi replied, shaking his head. Scott nodded as if to tell him to continue. "She failed the test."

"What?" Scott almost yelled, widening his eyes. He couldn't believe it! Essays are Kirstin's forte! "She's so good at them though! What happened?"

"She didn't study," Avi responded, still not accepting the fact that Kirstin didn't study. She usually had three twenty minute study sessions everyday until the test came. She learned in Advanced Psychology and the method has helped her every since. "I was shocked. She told me that she didn't study once. Something seems really fishy about that."

"Yes it does," Scott murmured to himself, feeling bad for Kirstin. She always has this sweet and motherly aura about her and she always wanted children; however, since she is a Beta and Avi is an Alpha, the chances of them having a child is slim to none. They tried to have one, but Kirstin ended up being one of those Betas hat couldn't get pregnant from an Alpha. Ever since Mitch came, she treated him like her own child. While she was worrying about the Omega, all her other responsibilities got ignored. "Do you think it's because she focuses on Mitch a lot? She isn't as responsible as she used to be. All her time is on him now."

"I don't really know," Avi replied honestly as he looked at his watch. He then stood up and yawned, exhausted by today's events. "I'll talk to her tomorrow. We need to get sleep. It's a long day tomorrow."

Scott sighed as Avi walked to the room, leaving the Lead Alpha by himself. Scott then walked to the room, a sudden flashback coming back in mind.

"Scott, tell me how much you love me!"

"Allie, I love you this much."

"That's not a lot."

"It might not be, but if my arms were any longer, then that will still not show how much I love you."

"Your love for me is longer than your arms? That's long."

"Forever and forever, my Dorothy."

"Forever and forever, my Scarecrow."

Scott fought back the year that was about to fall down his face, wanting Alex to be back in his arms. He likes Mitch, but Alex loved him more than anything. He hardly even knows Mitch and he knew Alex ever since they were little kids.

Scott shook his head, wanting to get rid of every thought. Alex and Mitch are both so different yet so similar. While Alex is more outgoing and extroverted, Mitch is more shy and introverted. While Alex spoke his mind, Mitch was a bit more soft spoken and afraid to say what he thinks.

The two are so similar because they both are obsessed with movies that they could watch for hours. Scott almost has The Little Mermaid and The Wizard of Oz memorized! They loved coloring for him and bringing him flowers. They made sure that he was not stressed out. They never gave him a hard time or made him uncomfortable.

The biggest difference?

Alex was showered with 'I love you's while Mitch was and is not.

Scott woke up, noticing that Mitch is already out of bed. He got up tiredly and got ready for the day. What will Nel say? Will she talk about the inheritance? Will she talk about how wonderful Jessa is? Will she shame Mitch for being an Omega? Will she...

"Scott, she's here!"

"Coming," Scott called back, putting on a random shirt and pair of jeans. He brushed his hands through his hair and walked out of his room, noticing a brunette woman who Mitch practically resembles. "What do you want? Don't say anything wrong or I will kick you out."

"Jessa told me he was here," Nel replied quietly, looking at her son. Mitch looked away, not wanting to how his emotions. Kirstin hugged him tight, feeling empathy for the young Omega. "I clearly made bad decisions in my life that I regret. I left Mitch at such a young age."

"You call that a bad decision?" Avi scoffed, staring at Nel. He shook his head when she nodded. "A bad decision will be like cheating on a test or stealing candy from a little kid. Leaving your kid at five years old then coming back fourteen years later is not a 'bad decision'. It's a crime. You could arrested for it. How dare you abandon him?"

"I don't know," Nel responded quietly, looking at her son. Mitch refused to look at her, his heart falling and breaking apart once more. "Baby, I'm so sorry."

"For what?" Mitch questioned quietly, looking at her. A tear ran down his face, revealing his heartbreak. "A parent just doesn't leave their kid when they are five. They just don't leave because their son is an Omega and not the strong Alpha or intelligent Beta they wanted. I will never live up to your expectations."

"Mitchy," Nel began, standing up to touch his shoulder. He flinched when she rested her hand on him. "Please lis-."

"Leave," Mitch interrupted, knowing that he will get a punishment for interrupting. Nel let him go, shocked at his commanding voice.

"Mitch, honey," she tried to back up. Mitch shook his head as his small body began to shake with emotions that have been hidden ever since he was born. "I lo-."

"Leave," Mitch yelled, a sob interrupting his speech. He let out a shuddery breath as he backed off. "You never loved me. If you did, then you wouldn't have left."

"It's time for you to leave," Kevin commanded, pointing towards the door. Nel stood her ground, shaking her head. "I'll call the Council if I have to do."

"And what will you tell them?" Nel replied in a snarky tone. Scott tightened his hand into a fist, trying his best not to punch something. "I would like to see make up some rea-."

The sentence was left unsaid because Kirstin went up to the lady and slapped her hard across the face. Nel gasped, widening her eyes. She held her face and walked to the door, not looking back once. She then left and everyone let out sighs of relief.

"And stay out," Kevin commanded, looking at Kirstin. Her hand is currently throbbing, she didn't care. "Are you okay?"

Kirstin nodded as she looked at Mitch. His eyes are blue for some reason and she couldn't figure out why. Avi and Scott shared a look of confusion, not knowing why the Omega walked up to them.

"I accept your punishment, Sir."

A/N: Cliffhanger!!!! Also, remember when I said that there was going to be less drama when Nel came? Well, I lied. Sorry, not sorry. The next chapter will show why Mitch said that. I love you all and I hope you enjoyed this chapter.:)
