Chapter Nine

A/N: I forgot that I had a cliffhanger for the chapter before the last one so there is going to be a flashback in this chapter that shows Scott's reaction to Mitch singing.xD Also, I watched the Sup3rfruit Periscope and THEY SANG PART OF YOUR WORLD AND IT GAVE ME THE FEELS!!!! *clears throat* Sorry. They sang that it and it made my heart happy because that's the song Mitchy sang when Scott wanted to get him sing.:) I'll stop talking so you can read the story, lol.

Mitch burst into tears and quickly ran into Scott's room, shutting the door quietly. Alyssa stared at the door, looking shocked. She then looked back at the Pack, confusion clouding her features.

"Is he okay?" She asked gently, looking up at Kevin. He shook his head sadly and she frowned, but fully understanding why Mitch left. "Why did he get affected by that? Did I say something wrong?"

"No," Kirstin answered, shaking her head. She sighed sadly as she looked at the door herself. "Mitch's family was...is? I don't know. His old family was the Grassis."

"Wait...so you mean?" Alyssa asked, putting two and two together.

"Mitch is the Grassi's youngest child," Avi confirmed. Alyssa gasped sadly as she looked back at the door. "He by abandoned them. Jessa came here and told us."

"Jessa was my best friend, though," Alyssa began, her brown eyes feeling with tears. "I...I just can't believe that! They were so sweet. I mean, they kind of seemed angered when I became a teacher at the Omega school, but they never judged me for it. Why did they abandon him?"

"Their families hate Omegas," Kevin answered, hugging his girlfriend when she began to cry. Quiet sobs were the only sounds that can be heard in the house. "I'm so sorry, honey."

"I remember saying they had a son, but they told me they adopted me because...," she began, but a sob interrupted her. She put her head into Kevin's chest and started to cry more. "They lied to me!"

"What did they tell you?" Scott asked, wondering what Alyssa was going to say. "Tell me, Alyssa."

Alyssa nodded as she took a deep breath. She looked up at them as she admitted what the Grassis told her when she got adopted:

"They told me he died."

Mitch woke up the next day with a pounding headache. He whimpered quietly as he hugged his Ariel stuffed toy to his chest. Despite the pain growing in his head, he smiled at the memory when Scott realized that he could sing.

FLASHBACK

"Mitch..." Scott began, making Mitch look down at his lap. The Omega feared for the worst but then perked up when he heard the next words. "That was amazing! You're an amazing singer!"

"Thank you, Sir," he replied shyly and then looked up when Scott put his hand under his chin. "What's the matter?"

"You don't need to call me that," Scott promised lightly. He kissed Mitch's forehead and smiled at the small Omega. "You are my Princess Ariel."

Mitch blushed as he stared down the new stuffed Ariel he got from the Disney Store. He then looked up at Scott, smiling happily.

"And you're my Prince Erik."
