Looking at you from a distance,
Getting all of my attention,
Could this be love at first sight?
You walked away and I missed you,
Visions of wanting to kiss you,
How could this be if I don't really know you?
Love at First Sight - Mary J Blige

Chapter One- Five years later
The Harbour Room was empty, save for a few people busying themselves behind the bar and scurrying around setting up the room.
Emma stood at the entrance, uncomfortable and nervous. If it had not been for her moving out and needing the extra cash, she would never be subjecting herself to this ordeal. Meeting new people, it was hard enough with one job, let alone two.
This place, It was perfect in every sense of the word. From it's marble flooring and cream coloured walls, it did not seem so much like a nightclub then it did a hotel lobby or gallery. The upper level's red and black leather couches all around teamed with wooden tables in the middle looked fabulous. Abstract art pieces and another huge bar on one side completed the look. Emma was dazzled by it's extravagance.
No-one noticed her for a while, which gave her the opportunity to watch as they worked.
"Are you Emma Black?" Finally somebody stopped and saw her.
Emma nodded and clutched her bag tighter, nervously. "Yes, I'm Emma,"
The man's face broke into a kind smile. "Please, come in and take a seat," He motioned for her to follow him, and she walked inside.
He led her to a private area just beside the bar, where it was quieter and away from the other workers.
He sat down and Emma took a seat.
"Thanks for coming. I'm Seth," He held out his hand and Emma shook it.
Seth was cute. He had short blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. He was quite fit and Emma knew he was more than likely an athlete of some sort, probably fresh from college, or still there. His collared black shirt teamed with dark blue jeans really showed off his physique.
"Thanks for having me," Emma smiled, and she was glad she had chosen to wear her black slacks and cream blouse. It was an understated professional look but casual all the same.
"So have you done any bar work before? Any waitressing?" Seth asked.
Emma shook her head, and her cheeks flushed pink. "Um, I thought you knew I hadn't. I'm too young right this minute, but I'll be twenty one on Friday and able to serve alcohol,"
Seth nodded, "Oh yes that's right. I remember you better now. Your resume did say that," He opened up his clipboard and took out her resume.
He scanned over it again and nodded. "Well you have done some customer service at Rock's Deli, so that counts for something," He rubbed his chin and then scratched the back of his head. An awkward silence soon settled over them as Seth kept his eyes focused on her resume, as though he was working up the courage to say something. He cleared his throat.
"Would you be interested in working uh, somewhere else?" He asked, after some time. Emma could sense his nervousness.
"Somewhere else?" She asked, confused.
