"Okay, the guys will be here any minute. Let's go wait downstairs" Ali says.

"PRE TURN UP SHOTS! " Chloe yells running downstairs to the kitchen.

"Y'all go ahead I gotta find my purse."

My purse had been ready before I was. I just wanted an excuse to get my thoughts together. Maybe James will be tolerable. Maybe he can not be a dick and everything will be cool. Pssh I don't know James, but I got a feeling he ain't the apologetic type. Suddenly my nerves get the best of me. My dress is too revealing. Maybe I should change? Why did I even choose this?

"You're not changing I won't allow you," Chloe says from the door frame.

"Chloe? What happened to pre-turn up shots?"

"Yeah well they aren't as fun when the rest of the squad is talking to their boyfriends," Chloe says sadly. I know she's trying to hide it but she hates being single.

"So, do you think I should change?"

"Nope, you look hot."

"Yeah but this dress isn't me." At this point, I'm sure this is probably one of the girls old dresses. It's definitely a nice dress, but it's not what I'm used to wearing.

"So, that's the best part you didn't give yourself enough time to talk yourself out of wearing it. Impulsive illogical Morgan is the best Morgan you can be. Just for one night say fuck it and have fun. "

"Okay, fuck it," I say letting out a little laugh.

"Good. Now let's go take some shots."

"Tequila for all!"Destiny yells while pouring the shots.

"Wait who's gonna be our designated?" I immediately say.

"Keith doesn't drink," Ali says unfazed by the question.

Do they think I'm really gonna let us get drunk and trust two strangers to look out for us?

"Don't look like that we know them," Ali says. My facial expressions stay the same. They know that I will not drink if that's the plan. I don't know these guys. Hell one of them disrespected me last night.

"It's cool I'm not drinking tonight," Chloe says. "Besides I'm still drunk from last night."

"Okay then it's settled," Ali says taking Chloe's shot. "Let's go they're outside."

I mouthed a thank you to Chloe. She simply nods. I'm glad she sensed my anxiety. I thank her not because now I can drink comfortably. I won't get drunk anyways. I thank her because sometimes Ali and Desi don't think before they do things. And I'm usually the one that takes care of the mess they make. Chloe can get wild that's for sure, but when it's time to serious she can be.

When we are outside we see two cars. Keith's in a black G wagon and James in a black Audi. James and Keith step out and approach us. They look nice, we all do. I bet if we stood in front of their cars and took a picture it'll be one of those squad goals memes.

James is starting me down.
