Morgan's p.o.v
Sunday morning

You ever get the feelings someones watching you. Like you can feel them looking at you. It's like your body senses it and is like nope something not right. Well, that's the same feeling I have right now. For the last five minutes, I've felt eyes on me.

I'm laying on my back with my hands crossed over my chest. Almost like I'm dead, creepy I know. I hear Ali's voice near my left side.
"Wakey wakey Morgan" I remain still. "Bruh we know you're not sleeping so get up. " Well good morning to you too Destiny.

"Let's just go it's obvious James was too much for her." At those words, I immediately shoot up.
"What. Did. You. Just. Say."

Before Chloe can tell me what she meant Ali covers her mouth with her perfectly manicured nails. I've always envied that they stayed manicured. I tried to get my nails done regularly but as a baker having long nails isn't very helpful.

"Look who's awake! Now get up so we can discuss all of the juicy details from last night. We leave in ten minutes so get ready."

I look to Chloe and she just nods eagerly with her face still covered by Ali's hand.

So with a loud groan and a small stretch, I head to the bathroom. I don't even look in the mirror I know I look a mess. As I strip down for my shower I notice I'm wearing an oversized t-shirt and not that damn dress. Note to self give that dress to Dessi.

After my shower, I feel confident enough to look at myself. Same old same old. Maybe I should change up my look. I've haven't done that in a while. Maybe I'll dye my hair purple or something. Pushing my thoughts to the side I finish my morning routine and head to my closet.

Putting on a maxi dress, sandals and jean jacket I form today's outfit. I put my hair in a ponytail and grab some sunglasses and my purse.

"Well look its sleeping beauty herself," Destiny announces as I walk downstairs. I say nothing and continue on into the kitchen to get a bottle of water.
"Um, the front door is the other way," Chloe tells me. Once I have my water I walk past the three of them. Grab my keys from the counter and begin to leave. "Oh, no hun something tells me you're not in the best mood to drive." Destiny takes my keys from me and holds the door open for us. "So I guess we're getting the silent treatment until you eat huh?" Ali says more so to Chloe and Destiny than Me.

Trying to hold a grudge has never been my strong suit and the car ride to brunch proves that. I admit that my silent treatment was going great. A little too great after about five minutes I felt like I was being ignored. Not to mention the fact that the girls gave up trying to talk to me. "We better be going to Track 9" I mumble. Wow, I made it a whole seven minutes that's gotta be a personal best. I expect to hear a yes from someone but instead, they break out into laughter.

"Destiny buying mimosas, Destiny buying mimosas!" Chloe sings giddily.

"Dame Moe I thought you were going to hold out until we got to the restaurant," Destiny says sounding a little disappointed. That's when I realize they put a wager on my silent treatment.

"I hate you all get out my car." I threaten to try my hardest to sound serious. Of course they get a kick out my half-ass threat. The three of them laugh as if I said the funniest thing ever. The laughter doesn't cease which leaves me wearing a blank expression all the way to our destination.

At brunch

Once we're at brunch I kind of forget about....well everything. My mind has switched settings I'm no longer upset, I'm hungry. When the waiter comes over to take our order I don't hold back. The girls order a round of mimosas and they're food. Chloe gets the lemon ricotta pancakes. Ali and Destiny order the strawberry shortcake French toast. I happen to order a half pound Angus egg burger, Belgium waffles, and sticky pecan cinnamon rolls.

When the waiter leaves I think about just how good my food is gonna be. Track 9 has the best food. I'm not ashamed to say I eat here at least once a week. Chloe and destiny are unfazed by order. Ali not so much. She gives me this unapproving look but says nothing. I already know what she thinking.

My poor sweet Alicat has succumbed to the healthy lifestyle of LA. Living off kale and bullshit. She's tried things like going vegan and eating gluten-free. Which only leaves her eating a Costco size bag of hot Cheetos on my couch. I've known Ali for years and the girl hates to exercise. She has a body meant for curves. The same curves the girls around here pay doctors for.

Ali and I moved to California together when we were nineteen. Before that, we lived with her parents in Miami for a little bit. Her parents took me in when things got bad for me. They are some of the sweetest people ever. Ever since they took me in Ali and I have been like sisters. Ali is a southern girl like me born and raised but sometimes I think she forgets that. She wants to be a valley girl so bad.

"So who wants to start, " I ask. They thought I completely forgot, nope I was just sidetracked by food. "What did you and your new boyfriend do after the club?" Chloe says so eagerly.
sipping her mimosas.

"That man is not my boyfriend!" I mistakenly yell.
"Oh um sorry Chlo." She just giggles and says"sure he isn't."

"So spill what happened last night," Destiny says as our food arrives.

"Well......
