"What the hell was that?" Ali yells over the music. "Damn now I know why you guys were late," Destiny said as if she actually does.

"First of all we lost y'all at a red light," I tell them.

Mhm spill out of their mouths, they don't believe me.
"We did!" I can't help but laugh at the expressions on their faces. "Okay, then what was that all about" Chloe chimes in.

"What was all of what? I didn't do anything." I say squeezing pass the friendship wall they've built. Making my way to a seat.

"I don't know Morgan. It looks like you guys were gonna kiss"Ali adds while sipping her drink.

"Kiss him y'all I don't even know him." My response sounds defensive; like a lie.

"A lack of bio never stopped me from a good make-out session." Chloe is obviously reminiscing on her lip lock encounters.

"Amen Pastor Chloe!" Destiny claps her hands as if she's in church. We just laugh at their crazy assess in response.

"Yeah, well I'm not like y'all. I don't just kiss on any and everybody."
I sassed.
"Why not?" Chloe asks.
"Because I'm a lady, that's why."

"Yeah because you're a prude and the perfect southern belle," Destiny said in a terrible southern accent.

"Ha! I don't even sound like that besides Ali is from the South too."

" Nah bitch I'm from Florida, that's the fun part of the South. Miami that tropical South. That El Tropicana!" She said taking a shot of tequila.

I can't help but laugh at her. She says the craziest things sometimes. She can barely even speak Spanish. "Okay enough of me being late. Why didn't y'all tell me he owns the club." I ask changing the subject.

"Well, he and my baby own it." Ali corrects.
"Oh, so that's your baby now?" I didn't know they were so exclusive.

" Ugh, you should have seen them in the car. They were all over each other." Chloe said making a face.
Ali responds to Chloe by poking out her tongue and flipping her hair.

Keith's p.o.v

"So let me get this straight. He just backed out of the deal?"

"Waited until the paperwork was drawn up and everything" my cousin Eli tells me. Apparently one of our future business partners. Thought that they could just back out the last minute and waste our valuable time.

The Dickerson knew very well what type of business we're in. I distinctly remember telling that prick and his fuck face of wife the rules. "Stupid politicians" I mutter.

"Well of course now we have to pay them a visit. To remind them of how good we are at our Jobs." James's words are laced with poison.

"You know that they had the audacity. To say that we wouldn't be able to get the job done. that's why their signatures aren't on this document." Eli is waving their disclosure agreement around like its a used rag.

"That's it they won't be able to say anything tomorrow," James says already gearing up to visit the Dickerson.

Whoa, hold up little brother I stop him as he heads for the door. I know he hates when I point out his age. Especially since he is the younger sibling now.

"Tell you what how about we make this into a win-win situation, "I say pointing to myself and back to him. Sometimes you have to reason with James like you would a child.

"I'm listening"

"Not only will we get the job is done but we're gonna charge them triple the original amount. And if they refuse to sign this time or pay up they are all yours."

"Deal ?"

"Deal!"

And with that he is satisfied. I decide to change the subject from work to him and Morgan. "So now that's finished want to tell me why you were late?"

"Yeah I and Mory caught some red lights," he says smiling uncontrollably.

"Dude is that a smile?"

"What? no! I don't have anything to smile about." He lies through his teeth. "Sure and Ali is really a virgin," I say sarcastically.

"Keith, you still talking to that Ali chick?" Eli asks.

"Yeah, she's my girlfriend and now James is talking to her friend. "

"Dude, what kind of a name is mory? "Eli asks.

"I'm the only one that can her that besides her real name is Morgan," James exclaims.

It's obvious he likes Morgan and the fact that he can be a possessive dick doesn't help much. I know once Eli realizes that he likes her he's gonna fuck with him about it. This should be fun to watch.

"What you guys got nicknames for each other?" Boom and there you have it folks let the show begin.

"Why do you care?" James is testing the waters with his words.

"No reason I just don't want her to yell the wrong name while I'm fucking her tonight."

"Listen here you dumbfuck James has Eli by the collar.

So I now have to intervene. "Okay look just so we're on the same page Morgan is James's toy. And when he is done playing with her you might get a turn." I tell Eli in a serious tone. The last thing we need is some piece of ass to mess up our bond. After Eli's parents passed in a car crash we all became like brothers. We've been through a lot together.

"It's cool Keith I bet she isn't hot anyway " Eli takes one more dig at James.

James just locks jaw, now I wonder what really happened at those red lights.

"Well, why don't we go and pay our guest a visit," I say putting an arm around their shoulders.
