Toby's P.O.V.

I stared at the piano. I haven't played in so long I don't know if I even remember how. Who am I kidding. Of course I remember.

I found the sheet music for Moonlight Sonata and placed it on the music stand. I timidly touched the first note expecting horrible memories to come back but they didn't. My only thoughts were of her.

I played straight through the song making way fewer mistakes than it expected. I suppose eight years of piano lessons aren't easily forgotten.

I heard a muffled sob from the doorway and looked up to find my aunt crying.

"What do you want?" I muttered hardening myself.

"That was beautiful." She sobbed softly before leaving.

I stared down at the black and white keys being invaded by memories I didn't want to have. I slowly felt myself breaking down. My heart sped up and I couldn't breathe.

"Not again." I mumbled over and over holding my head. Dizziness overtook me.

"Toby! What the heck, man?" Blake yelled.

When did he even get here? Who cares. His voice snapped me back to reality and the panic attack stopped.

"You did it again didn't you? You had a panic attack!" He yelled accusingly.

"It was a small one!" I took deep breaths.

Blake sighed. "What happened?"

I stared at the ground. "I played. For the first time in five years I played. Auntie stood in the doorway and cried. After she left I broke down." I felt weak and I hate feeling weak. "Whatever. It's no big deal." I stood up and left the room.

"If you say so." Blake said following me.

We went to my room to play video games. As soon as I walked in I saw Eliana through her window laughing and playing with a baby. Suddenly someone slapped me in the back of the head.

"Oww!" I whined. "What was that for?"

"I was tired of watching you stare at Eliana with your tongue hanging out." He laughed.

"I was not staring!" I cried defensively.

"Keep telling yourself that!" He laughed.

We walked over to the big screen tv and started to play on the Xbox. I broke out a six pack and quickly began to forget. Sometime later Blake stood.

"I'm leaving." Blake smiled.

"Why?" I asked my mind fuzzy.

"Dude your hammered. I don't wanna be here when you start puking everywhere." He shook his head.

"I'm not that drunk.."

"You were singing Taylor Swift. You only do that when your drunk." He laughed.

I cursed under my breath.

"No worries I won't tell anyone." He winked then left.

I sighed and staggered over to my bed. I flopped down and watched Eliana from the window. Her and some girl were sitting on the rung talking and laughing.

I picked up my phone and called her. She didn't answer. Well that hurt almost as bad as her going out with Connor. That reminded me. I was still mad. About what?... My phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey. I saw where you tried to call. Need something?" Eliana's quiet voice came through the line.

"Yeah.. Why was I mad at you yesterday?" I asked in confusion.

"Have you been drinking?" She demanded walking out on her balcony.

"Maybe a little..." I stood up and tripped on my blanket.

"Oh my god. You are so drunk." She sighed. "Hold on a sec. I'm coming over."

I stood up rubbing my nose where I had hit it on the floor. A few minutes later my door opened and there she was.

"Oh my god your room is huge!" She exclaimed.

My room is twice the size of a normal bedroom. Besides a bed my room holds a couch, a flat screen tv and video game system, a small book shelf and a sound system.

Her eyes took it all in until they landed on me. She came over an sat beside me on the floor.

"Why are you drunk?" She asked bringing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them.

"Uh I don't remember." I lied.

"How many drinks did you have?" She looked up at me through her long eyelashes.

"Uhh I lost count after six." I admitted sheepishly.

She gasped. "Are you insane?! Your a minor! Where the heck did you even get that?!"

"I know some people." I shrugged.

She sighed. "Toby, why are you drunk?"

"I told you I don't remember." I lied again.

"Your lying." She replied softly.

"How do you know?" I asked incredulously.

"I just do." She shrugged.

"It's nothing." I sighed. "I just needed to forget." I could see her getting ready to ask a question and I knew what it would be.

"You can't drink away your problems."  She said surprising me. "Come on. You need to go to bed. Your so drunk you can barely sit up straight."

"Okay." I let her help me up. She held me arm and steered me towards my bed. I fell pulling her down on top of me.

"Ow!" She cried whacking her forehead on mine.

"Sorry." I mumbled. I was laying on my bed with her laying on my chest. She stared at me wide eyed and thoughts of the kisses we've shared came to my mind.

I bit my lip. If I was sober I may not have done what I did next. Key word being may...

I leaned in to kiss her when I heard someone cough. Eliana let out a small squeal and rolled off of me.

"I uh left my phone but I can get it later if I'm interrupting something.." Blake trailed off.

"No! You aren't interrupting anything!" Eliana jumped up off the bed flushing bright red.

"Uh huh. Sure." Blake grabbed his phone. "I'm just gonna leave." With that he was gone.

Eliana pushed her hair behind her ears still looking embarrassed.

"You gonna be okay?" She asked not looking up.

"Yeah. I'll be fine." I sighed. I was gonna kill Blake tomorrow.

"Okay. Bye." Then she left me alone with my nightmares...
