The Time Traveler's Pig

*Priya's POV*

I sit down on the rooftop outside on the Shack, letting my feet dangle from the edge as I look up into the dark sky, hundreds of stars twinkling all around. The twins and Stan were already asleep, but I couldn't rest, there was too much going on in my mind.

I just don't understand anything right now. I get this weird pain in the back of head whenever I start to think about the town and it's people. And the people themselves are acting weird, well more than usual, it seems like they've known me for so long. With Pacifica's parents giving me a weird look to Gideon implying that I've been here before, it's crazy!

What's going on with this town? I don't understand anything.

I sigh deeply as I bury my face in my hands. Suddenly, I feel the wind getting stronger as I lift my head up, feeling someone watching me.

"I know it's you Bill. Come out." I say aloud as I smile weakly. He's been visiting me every night ever since I came to Gravity Falls. The first few meetings were a bit...weird...and kinda scary, but now we would just talk about any random things. It's weird, I just feel so connected to him, it's like I know everything about him. It feels as if I met him before.

The dream demon soon appears as he floats in front of me. It's weird now though, instead of Bill visiting me in the dreamscape, he can visit me in the physical world. He can only do it a few times though but we tried it out and it works pretty well.

"Ah Blue Gem, you remembered me~" Bill says teasingly.

"C'mon now Bill, I see you every night. Also, this question has been eating at me since we've tried this out, but how can you visit me in the physical world? Like you really only do the dreamscape?" I ask the dream demon.

"Hahaha, it's funny to see you so clueless! It's a mystery, duh!" He says, flying over and booping my nose.

"That literally makes no sense, why can't you just tell me."

"I like to keep it a mystery for you! You do love mysteries after all my love!" Bill says happily. My face suddenly erupts with redness from the nickname he gave me, averting my eyes at him to look at the woods, my heart rate quickening.

Aaahh...those are some...nice trees.

"Oh.....Well thanks for the educated lesson." I smile weakly at him, calming down a bit. A few seconds later I start to frown as I look down, still thinking about this whole mess that's going on in my mind right now.

In the corner of my eye, I notice Bill looking a bit disgruntle when he instantly flies close to me again. My breath hitches as I was forced to now look at him in the eye.

Priya, you gotta calm your heart rate down before you pass out.

"Bill you gotta stop doing tha-"

"Tell me why you are upset." Bill demands as I feel the heat rise to my cheeks.

Of course he knows I'm upset, he can read my mind.

"Why yes I can read your mind Priya, now tell me what's wrong." He repeats, making me sigh as I look away from Bill.

"It's just, I don't know. Everything that has happened since I got here has just been weird. I mean, I almost got killed by a twelve year old boy. And what did he mean by 'Welcome back to Gravity Falls'? I never been here before! And this girl's parents gave me some weird looks...like as if they recognize me. Even when I start to think deeply about this town, I get a headache, every time! I-I don't know what's going on here." I cry out in frustration. A tear escapes my left eye as I still focus my gaze away from Bill.
