Society of the Blind Eye

*Priya's POV*

"Alright Bill, now it's your turn!! You got this dude!" I cheer him on, standing far away from him by where the forest begins.

I am trying to educate Bill more about the cultures for humans, even if he's not that enthusiastic about it, I'm glad he's sort of trying. I am teaching him the ways of the sport, soccer. I showed him a few moves on how to kick the ball and now it's his turn. I saw him grin excitedly, with a hint of chaos in his eye as he lifts his right leg up and brings it down to the soccer ball, creating a powerful kick.

Suddenly, the ball flew so fast that it transformed into a fireball and flies right past me and goes straight into the forest, knocking down about 50 trees in it's path. I bite my lip and blink a few times, still somehow feeling the wind from the soccer ball flying past me.

"Hahahahaha yes!! Touchdown!! I scored one trillion points!!!" I hear Bill laugh victoriously from the other side. I still stand in the same position I was in, still processing everything that just happened.

"Thank god we are in the mindscape...this could've gone badly." I whisper to myself while watching Bill do a victory dance. As I regain my composure, I sit myself down on the grass and took a deep breath while closing my eyes.

"You okay love? I didn't take your breath away that bad with my awesome kick, huh?" I hear Bill chuckle to me, knowing that he's now right of front of me. I hear him sit down next to me and rest his head ontop of mine. I position myself over to face the demon, staring up at him while he stares down at me with worry.

*Bill's POV*

"Hey Bill.....About awhile ago, when we were all in my Grunkle's mind...and you told us, well more like the twins and Soos, that darkness will be coming soon....what did you mean by that?" She asks me, avoiding eye contact while I notice her fumbling with her amulet.

She's been keeping that amulet with her whenever we are with each other. I asked her why and she simply said that whenever I'm with her and she has the amulet with her, it feels as if the world around her makes a bit more sense.

I blink at her question, unable to try and explain myself.

She can't know. I know she doesn't want secrets between us but she can't know. She doesn't understand why I'm doing this. She never will until my plan comes into play.

I just need time.

"My lovely Blue Gem, the reason why I said that was just to make them fearful. You know I didn't like that they outsmarted me. I am the master of the minds after all. I wanted to make sure they never do that again." I explain to her. I usually am okay with lying, it's pretty easy, but when it comes to Priya, it feels wrong.

She doesn't deserve to be lied to. But it will all be worth it soon.

"Are you sure? You're not lying to me, right Bill?" She questions me, her tone filled with uneasiness.

"I'm not my love. I regret doing that to you before....I won't do it again." I tell her.

"You promise?"

I smile warmly at her and place my forehead against hers, closing my eyes to feel her warm presence that I always crave.

"I promise."

It was morning while I was sitting with Dipper in our bedroom. He was trying to figure out the biggest mystery of Gravity Falls...who the author of the journals is.
