•Chapter 19•

(So this chapter will be mainly a flashback about Priya and Ford's past together and it's gonna be 3rd person's POV. There will also be a explanation in the next chapter but I hope you enjoy this one :))

Priya and Ford's Past

*Six years ago*

Priya gets off the bus and lightly sets her bags on the ground and reads the map that was in her hands.

"Hm, so Grunkle Ford's house should be about a few blocks away." Priya says to herself while grabbing her bags and starts to walk towards the house. As she was walking, she takes a look around town and notices the beautiful scenery. Priya walks by some citizens as they wave politely to her and give her a big smile. She smiles back as she returns the gesture to the nice people.

After 15 minutes or so, Priya finally makes it to the house that her Grunkle Ford lives in. She sets her bags on the floor again and lightly knocks on the door a few times, a smile starting to form on her face. A few seconds went by as the door opens to see non other than, Stanford Pines. He immediately grins brightly and gives Priya a tight hug.

"Priya I can't believe you're here! It's been so long since I last seen you! Look how grown up you've gotten!" Ford says happily as Priya hugs back while she laughs.

"It's great to see you too Grunkle Ford! I missed you so much!" She says cheerfully.

"I missed you too Priya. Now come in, I'll show you to your room." Ford smiles as he grabs her bags as she follows him inside. Ford walks upstairs while Priya follows behind him as they walk into a very homey type bedroom that was the attic. Ford sets her bags on the bed while Priya takes a look around the room, eager to enjoy her partial summer vacation with her Grunkle.

"This will be your room for the summer Priya, I hope you like it." Ford says while a smile was still plastered on his face.

"I love it Grunkle Ford! So I was wondering, what are we gonna do this summer?" Priya questions. The man's smile widens and eyes sparkle with excitement.

"I have the whole summer planned out Priya! Now quickly come downstairs, I have something to show you!" Ford excitedly says as he starts to walk downstairs. Priya quickly follows as they stop in the living room. Priya raises an eyebrow in curiosity as Grunkle Ford holds out a journal that has a hand print with the #1 written in the middle.

"What's this Grunkle Ford?" Priya asks, meaning the journal in Ford's hands.

"This, my wonderful niece, is my journal of all my research in Gravity Falls. It shows different creatures that lurk in these very woods." Ford explains while handing Priya the journal. She opens up the journal and skims through all the pages, looking at all of the different creatures that were written in the book.

"So....all these creatures you discovered are real?" Priya questions while raising an eyebrow, making Ford nod excitedly as his smile widens.

"And.....you've met these creatures before?" Priya questions again while her eyebrow was still raised, making Ford's smile drop as he nods slowly.

"Do you not believe me?" Ford asks, hurt dripping in his voice. Priya stays silent as she looks down at the journal until she smiles brightly up at him.
