A Date With a Demon

*Priya's POV*

I open my eyes slowly, groaning lightly as I sit up from my bed, stretching my back and arms. Letting out a content sigh, my eyes gaze over at the window to see that it was a beautiful, sunny day today. I notice that the twins are still sleeping soundly in their beds, making me smile warmly at them. I remove the covers on me as I stand up and make my way downstairs to make breakfast, knowing very well that Grunkle Stan is still in bed as well.

Hm, I should make everyone some pancakes.

My stomach grumbles at the thought as I grab all the ingredients to make my famous homemade pancakes. Hearing the sizzling of the batter for the pancakes on the pan, a thought runs in mind, making my eyes grow wide. I frantically look around for the clock in the kitchen, finally finding it to see that it was currently 9:30.

I had a date today with Bill.

"Great, just gre- AHHHHH!" I scream out, feeling a searing pain on my hand. I cradle my hand, realizing that I accidentally touched the hot pan. I quickly put my hand in the sink and let the cold water run over it, already seeing a burn mark forming.

"Well this is gonna stay here for a few days." I mumble, whining sadly.
I then resume to finishing up making the pancakes as I place them neatly on some plates and put them on the table.

"Good morning Priya." I hear a familiar voice say as I look up to see Dipper walking into the kitchen. He rubs his eyes tiredly until he sniffs the air, a smile now forming on his face and his eyes twinkle.

"You made pancakes! Thank you Priya!" Dipper adds happily as he hugs me.

"You're welcome Dip, now go ea-"

"OH MY GOSH I SMELL PANCAKES!!" I hear Mabel scream from our room. I then hear her running downstairs and sprinting into the kitchen. She smiles like an idiot as she tackles me to the ground, hugging me to death.

"Oh thank you thank you thank you Priya!! You're the best!!" Mabel screams happily while I hug her back.

"You're welcome Mabel, now let's go eat." I tell her as we both got off the ground. The three of us sit down at the table as we start to eat our pancakes when Grunkle Stan comes in and sits down at the table with us, putting some pancakes on his plate.

"Mmm, these are good kid." Grunkle Stan compliments me as I smile.

"Thanks Grunkle Stan." I say while I eat my pancakes.

I couldn't stop thinking about that date today I have with Bill. It's like, I was excited for it but then again I'm not. Something is telling me that I shouldn't trust him, maybe it's from the journal.

But another part of me really is excited for it. It feels as if I knew him before coming to Gravity Falls, like we've been friends before. When I first met him the first night I was here, we immediately connected. It feels nice being with him, even though the journal says he's dangerous and evil, I feel safe with him.

I can't help feeling that I'm falling for a dream demon.

"Oooo, why are you blushing for? Is it because of a guy?" I hear Mabel say, realizing that I was blushing, which....made me blush harder. Mabel's eyes light up as she runs over to me and grabs my arms, shaking me violently.
