i'm literally sick of the werewolf genre right now oh my god
why do i continue to consume books with 2 dimensional Alphas all portrayed by the same interchangeable white model/ singer and casual sexism with its pack sluts and generally sex shaming.
Why are male alphas (who are like 18 by the way like how the fuck do you run a pack of werewolves do you even grow chest hair) described as "players who sleep around and use girls" and everyone is okay about it bc the virgin missus no personality having lucy hale protagonist is gonna "change him"
meeting someone and falling in love is a plot in its own but if you already have a magical bond that links you there's no actual point to the story and no having some random dude being creepily in love with your mate doesn't make him an antagonist dear god give me a reason why i should care about your characters!
and why is everyone straight and white? How can you base your story in brooklyn but only meet tom and sarah and mayonaise 2.0 but no rashid or santana's? how can you have a wolf pack in a small town where is the fucking space? why are they rich or smarter than regular humans? They are literally werewolves! they are feral, rabid creatures? why the fuck are they mixing with humans so much why are they so confident about their anonymity when the main protagonist can already spot that they keep hiding things literally the first day she arrives at school
why are all the alphas MALE DEAR GOD
stop writing rejecting stories its just hidden justification for emotional abuse
stop making the female protagonists so pointless.
where are the lgbt wolves
why are the alpha's abs deeper than their actual characterization
why write sequels about getting pregnant
