1. "Walked up in the spot, we do this a lot"

"The spot" probably means the studio, and they record songs a lot in there

2. "Living at the top"

They always talk about being at the top and how they're getting more and more known, together, not any other girl

3. "Let's pop a bottle, good God"

Well... Gilinsky is often referred to as a "Sex God", so...

4. "I thought I would be done with all of this stuff, but shit, I guess not"

Johnson thought that he was done thinking about guys and maybe it was just a phase, but then he starts thinking of guys that way again and is scared

5. "You're a dime, girl, a straight ten"

So we all know that they could just be saying "girl" instead of "boy" because they don't want us to think about it. So Johnson wants to say "You're a dime, boy, a straight ten". But he hides the word STRAIGHT in there because he knows that Gilinsky is straight

(EDITED ON 1/19/16) Omg I just noticed something else!!! Jack J said to Matt that he kissed a boy on accident in 4th grade (find it on the Pure Proof chapter) and in 4th grade kids are from the ages of 9 or 10. 10! TEN!!!!! Maybe he realized when he was 10 that he liked Gilinsky, but he was straight, making a STRAIGHT 10 (Year old) Get it???

6. "And let's pretend that in this moment in time we're more than friends"

They are best friends, and Johnson wants them to be more than that

7. In one live acoustic version of this song, Johnson says "yeah we'll blow it" over and over again after the part that Skate would have said ends, "this money, girl, we'll blow it". Maybe he's hinting towards Gilinsky about something;)

What did you guys think of this one?????????? I actually had to think a little harder for this song but I did find some hints:)
