Notice at 9:00 that Johnson mentions their song Shallow Love. Out of all 15 songs they have on iTunes, he chose that one as an example.
Yes I know he was trying to give an example of what they write about, but Doing It Right and Paradise also have some pretty good messages in them too... He chose Shallow Love FIRST, then realized that maybe people would think he's talking about Gilinsky and covered it up by also pointing out Wrong One and Tides.
Shallow Love is about "people being in relationships for all the wrong reasons." And he sees a lot of girls who are with guys for "the status or the money".
