To Break a Pine Tree

Chapter 9

My little Felis is so cute. I watch him eat as I finish my own meal.
Felis is still eating when I look down at him. I give a small laugh and run my fingers through his hair. 'You are nothing more than a pet and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.'
I reach down and pick up Felis when he finishes eating.

"Master has some work to do so you my little kitten get to relax and play in a nice sunny bay window."

I hold Felis in front of me and press my nose against his. Felis gives a happy meow and paws at my face. I laugh and kiss his paw as I move him back against my chest.
I get to my study and place Felis on a plush pillow in the bay window behind my desk. I then make some cat toys and treats appear. Felis gives a happy meow and starts playing with a toy mouse as I sit down and begin my work. 'My precious little kitten.'
