"Engggiiieeeee!!!"
Running into Dell, you gave him a tackle, almost toppling him over.
"Whoa there sweet heart! What's the hurry??"
You giggled, hugging his waist.
"Engie!! Play with me!!"
It wasn't that the others didn't play with you, in fact, they adored you! But they weren't your favorite person, the Engineer.
He chuckled and ruffled your hair.
"Sorry honey bee, I'm a bit busy right now"
You held onto him even tighter.
"Plllleaasssseee????"
"Ah'm a bit busy sweet heart, maybe later?"
Your face fell. But you knew better. Spy had taught you your manners after all. Nodding you slowly turned away.
Suddenly Engineer scooped you up and spun you around in a surprise attack!
"C'mere you!"
You squealed with joy and laughed. Your laughter was the most merriest thing the hard hearted mercanaries had ever heard, making their hearts melt and coo at you.
Engineer laughed along with you and held you.
"Who wants ice cream??"
You gasped.
"I do!!!"

Out in town, Dell took you to your favorite ice cream shop. You both held a cone of ice cream, and sat down at a table. Giggling, you swayed your legs that dangled over the tall chair.
Dell grinned at you. You were adorable!
"Darlin'?"
"Yeah Engie?"
"What's that over there?"
You looked back and saw nothing. Turning your head back, you noticed a bit of your ice cream was gone.
"?????"
You stared at the ice cream. You could have sworn there was more before.. While you were observing your ice cream, Dell choked down a laugh.
You were about to eat the ice cream when suddenly Dell pointed out the window.
"Wow! A pony!!"
Your eyes sparkled at his words.
"Where?!?!"
You turned around and saw nothing. Disapointed, you turned to your ice cream again, only to see a chunk of it was gone.
Your eyes widened in bewilderment. Checking the table and under, you looked for the missing chunk.
Dell was shaking with silent laughter now.
You turned your head, looking for the piece of ice cream when suddenly Dell leaned forward and ate the rest of your ice cream.
"It was you!! It was you all along!!"
Dell leaned back in laughter now, making you pout.
"Ah'm sorry darlin'! You're just so cute to tease!"
You puffed your cheeks, and crossed your arms, looking away.
"Hehe.. sorry darlin'. How about we get you another cone-"
He leaned forward, whispering.
"And get you an ice cream that never melts?"
You gasped at him surprise.
"How can an Ice cream never melt?"
He chuckled.
"Well now that's a secret (y/n)! Why don't we get another cone for you and get the never meltin' ice cream?"
Beaming, you took his hand and got another ice cream cone.
He told you to wait for a moment outside, you munched your ice cream cone, and Dell came back in less than a minute.
"Close your eyes darlin'!"
You closed them, when suddenly something soft was in your arms.
"You can look now!"
You opened your eyes, and an ice cream plushie with a cute face looked up at you.
You gave an gleeful scream, hugging the ice cream. It was so soft...!!
"Do ya like it (y/n)?"
You beamed and nodded.
"I love it!! Thank you Engie!!"
You hugged the Engineer and spun your ice cream plushie around.
"I'm going to name you... (ice cream name!)"
Dell laughed.
"Well, let's get ourselves back to base then!"
And the three of you drove back to base. And on the way back, Dell and you were laughing and chatting all the way.
