~Sparta's POV~
It's only been five and a half months since January left. He's mind linked me a couple times. He's in Kazakhstan right now. Fighting the war.
"Hey baby." January said through a private mind link.
"JANUARY!" I shouted.
"Aye! Watch it. Headache." He joked.
"When are you coming back?" I asked.
"I don't know. I'm resting now. That's why I'm able to talk to you." January said.
"I miss you." I said.
"As I, you." January said.
I sighed deeply.
"I haven't been sleeping well." I said.
"Me neither." He said.
"But I have news." I said.
"And that is?" January asked.

"I'm pregnant." I said.

It was silent for a few minutes.
"When did you find out?" He asked.
"About two hours ago." I said.
"What's the gender?" January asked.
"Two boys." I said.
"We're having twins?" January asked.
"Yep. I'm already showing." I said.
"I wish I could come back now." January said.
I agree. 100%.
"Another reason to keep on fighting to come back. Now you have two sons you gotta help yours truly raise." I said.
I heard him chuckle.

The sucky part is... Today's Christmas Eve. And my one wish, was to have January here with me. And our unborn sons. But, that isn't gonna happen. Well, it's highly unlikely.
"I have to go and sleep." January said.
I started crying. I knew that he knew I was crying.
"Don't cry." He begged.
"Okay. Merry Christmas." I said.
"Merry Christmas... My little Enchilada." January said.
"I wish you could be here to spend it with me." I said.
"I wish I could spend it there with you too." He said.
"I love you." I said.
"I have a deep regard for you as well." He said.
"Goodbye." I said.
"Goodbye." He said.
And with that, our mind link was cut off. It was midnight there. But 11:30 here. I pulled my guitar out. There's this Christmas song that totally explains what I'm feeling right now. It's 'Hey Santa' by the Wilson Sisters. I started singing.

"The city is covered in snow tonight.

The children fast asleep.

I'm waiting for him,

But he's nowhere in sight.

And I wonder if he,

Can hear me."

Chorus.

"Hey Santa.

Hey Santa.

Santa.

I wish with all my might.

Hey Santa.

Hey Santa.

Santa.

Being my baby home tonight."

Verse 2.

"Why does it feel like it's colder than winter?

Even by the fireside?

My baby said that he'd be home for Christmas.

But now it's almost midnight."

Pre-chorus.

"The Christmas lights up and down the street are...

Such a sight to see.

But all the presents by the tree,

They don't mean a thing till he's with me."

Chorus.

"Hey Santa.

Hey Santa.

Santa.

I wish with all my might.

Hey Santa.

Hey Santa.

Santa.

If you hear won't you hurry,

bring my baby tonight?"

Verse 3.

"I know your sleigh is full inside.

But you won't stop and give my baby a ride?

I'll waiting by the candlelight,

This Christmas.

Oooh."

Pre-chorus.

"The Christmas lights up and down the street,

Are such a sight to see.

But all the presents by the tree...

They don't mean a thing.

Santa please hear me."

Pre-chorus.

"Christmas lights up and down the street.

Presents by the tree.

I hear a knock,

Oh can it be?"

I legit heard a knock. So I turned the song on on my stereo. And I answered the front door. And standing right there, in all his glory, was my wish.

January was standing right in front of me.

<Song on stereo>

"My wish is staring back at me.

<Song continues on the radio>

I screamed like a teenage girl whose crush just said 'hi' to her. He smiled. I jumped at him and wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. I held him close to me like he was going to disappear.
"Please tell me you're actually here and I'm not hallucinating." I said.
"I'm here. I'm here... My little Enchilada." He said.
See now, January is of Spanish descent. So yeah. The way he says 'Enchilada' is entirely sexy as hell. I'm a sucker for Spanish speaking people. Don't judge me. Yeah, anyway...

I squealed in happiness when he said that. I started kissing him over and over again.
"If I get this much affection from you now, I think I should leave more often." He joked.
A playful growl arose from deep in my chest.
"No. You are not leaving me again." I said.
I just kept on kissing him.
"Oh hey man." His Beta, whom I still don't know, said.
I growled at him. My man is with me right now. Back off.
"Sorry, Luna." His Beta said.
"It's fine. He's mine as of now." I said.
"But, uh-" His Beta began
"My mate now. Talk business later." I said.
"Okay." His Beta said.
"Make like an egg and best it... Mr. Beta." I said.
"Okay, Luna." His Beta said.
He left.

"Demanding, are we?" January joked.
"No one is stealing you away from me as of right now." I said.
"Alright, alright." He said.
I led him to our bedroom and locked the door once both of us were inside of room. I heard him sigh contending.
"Miss me much?" I asked.
"More than you know." He said.
I smiled. He missed me.
"Do you know my Beta or Delta's name?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"They avoided me most of the time you were gone." I said.
He didn't seem to like that.
"Why?" He asked.
"Maybe because of how I was maybe, kinda, sorta, acting. Especially about two or three weeks after you left." I said.
"How did you act?" January asked.

"Really depressed. And hurt. And angry." I said.
"I didn't mean to cause that to happen to you." He said.
He looked down at the bed.
"That and I'm a supposed horrible Luna." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"Don't worry. I didn't get anyone killed or burn the pack house down. I didn't do that. Trust me when I say that." I said.
"Okay." He said.
He still was looking down. I felt the guilt he had flow off of him in waves. My poor baby. I walked over and say next to him. I tilted his face up and kissed with all the love and passion I have within me.
"Promise me you won't leave me ever again." I said.

"I promise." January said.

And he sealed that promise with a passionate kiss.
