(Above is the ring she is looking at. The $8,000.99 one.)

~Sparta's POV~
So January's able to walk around by himself. But he still has to take it easy though. Unfortunately for him, he can't do Alpha work still. Doc doesn't want him stressed out. As that could affect his health. So I dragged him to the mall. When I stopped by Kay Jewelers. I saw this most gorgeous engagement ring known to man. Finally, January catches up to me.
"Why are you looking at engagement rings?" He asked.
"Cause they're pretty. And this one has my favorite color. Sapphire. And look has totes adorbes it is!" I squealed.
I saw the man that's working today smile at January. And January smiled back. Must be they know something I don't. I looked at the price. Ouch. $8,000.99 and I ain't lying. But it is really silver and a real diamond. So it won't oxidize. Thank God. Well of course it won't, of course it's real silver, and of course it's a real diamond. Duh Sparta! Use your brain!
"He works as a tracker in our pack." January whispered to me.
We're in a mall that not only has werewolves but also humans. Whom don't know of our existence. Well, I'm sure some of them do. This ring is just so pretty.

Just then, another younger couple walked in. They were looking at engagement rings too. The girl must've saw one she liked. It was a pink stone sitting on a 24 karat gold band. It was $2,000.99 and was much cheaper than mine by a lot. I heard the man say to the girl that they don't have enough money for the ring she chose. I know that some couples have to resort to costume jewelry. But the bad part of that is it oxidizes. I felt really bad. Next thing I know January is over there. He hands the man who works at our pack his credit card and next thing you see is January handing them the ring that the girl wanted. They hugged him and thanked him about a thousand times over. January walked back over to me.
"That was so sweet of you." I said.
"Anything for our pack members." He said.
"What do they do?" I asked.
"The man is our lead chef, Jeremiah. And that's his fiancée, Omega Hannah." January said.
"Oh. Well it was still very nice of you." I said.
I kissed his nose, after getting him to bed down to my level of height. I started looking for other rings that were cheaper than the one I really liked.
"Why're you looking at other ones?" January asked.
"Do you see the price on the one I was looking at?" I asked.
I have to admit, I was a little sad that the ring I really liked it so expensive. I mean we have the money for it, because being an Alpha you get a hell of a lot of money. I'm saying millions every week. And that's just the bare minimum you can get. You get more once you mark and mate with your mate and make her your official Luna. So now we get a lot ore than millions. January looked at the price and nodded.
"We should probably go. You need rest." I said.
"Okay." January said.
With one last glance at the ring I liked, we walked away.

~January's POV~
I saw Sparta looking at this silver band with a sapphire diamonds next to the regular colored rhombus diamond. What turned her off of it was the price of it. I looked at the worker. He's our lead tracker. I sent him a mental picture of the $8,000.99 ring. He nodded.
"Hold this ring for me. I'll pick it up later today when she isn't with me." I mind linked him.
I bought that other ring for the couple I told Sparta about because I knew they were having some financial troubles. I felt bad. He had proposed two years ago. But they never had the money for a ding to make the proposal official. So the rest of the pack never believed them. And that kinda put a strain on their relationship. I just wanted to help them. And damn you should've seen their face. They looked shocked and happy. They thanked me a thousand times over. All I care about it if my mate and my pack is happy. That's a mate and an Alpha's job. We left and went home.
"I need to do some Luna stuff." Sparta said.
"Okay. I need to run out to see our lead warrior, Jebb, really quick. Need to ask him some stuff." I said.
She nodded.
"Call me if you need me." She said.
"Aye aye captain." I said.
She rolled her eyes and smiled. I'm glad to know I can still make her happy.

I got back in my car and drove to the mall. I walked up to the register and our lead tracker, Gorgone, handed me the $8,000.99 ring. I gladly took it and paid for it.
"She'll love it." Gorgone said.
"Oh I know." I said.
He chuckled and fist bumped me. I thanked him and drive back home. Hiding the ring in my back pocket. Feeling happier than I have been in a long ass time. I walked into our bedroom. And saw her working on some Luna paperwork. Like the report sheets and all that fun jazz. I knocked on the door and walked in. She looked up at me. She smiled.
"Hi." She said.
"Hi... My little Enchilada." I said.
"How's Jebb?" She asked.
"Good." I said.
Sparta nodded.
"That's good." Sparta said.
Sparta, being the Luna, is like the mother of the whole pack. That's what many see the Luna to be. Some see the Alpha as the father. I checked the boys' room. December and February were both asleep. So I walked back into mine and Sparta's room.

"Hey Sparta?" I asked.
"Yes?" She asked.
"I need to ask you something. It's very important." I said.
She put her pen down and looked at me.
"Okay." She said.
"Close your eyes." I said.
She looked at me weird but did it anyway.

I got took out the box that held the ring. And opened it, then closed it as quick as I could. I got down on one knee. I am nervous as all hell.
"Open them." I said.
She did. She looked around, puzzled, because I wasn't standing. Then she looked down and covered her face. She squealed in shock. I opened the box. And she burst into happy tears when she saw it was the $8,000.99 ring she originally picked out and wanted. I could see her lips pull up in a smiled behind her hands.
"Sparta?" I asked.
"Yes?" She asked.

"Every since I met you in kindergarten, I fell in love with you. And through all those years, I kept falling for you every minute of everyday. And when you told me Ll you've been through, I made a vow to make your life the best it could ever be. I will give you however many kids you want. And I'm glad I get to hold you in my arms. Wake up to you every morning. Kiss all the hours of the day. What I'm trying to say is..." I began.

"Will you marry me?" I asked.

She screamed quietly in happiness. She jumped off the bed and into my arms.
"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" She shouted.
I chuckled. I slid the ring gently on her left hand ring finger. She looked at it, a smile coming to her face. She faced me and kissed me with as much love and passion that she could conjure up. I've made my mate happy. Or should I say, I've made my mate and fiancée happy. And we couldn't be happier.
"I love you." I she said.
"I have a deep regard for you as well." I said.
I kissed her.

~Sparta's POV~
"Will you marry me?" January asked.
I saw it was the ring I originally wanted. The $8,000.99 one. This automatically makes my day. Like seriously bruh. I screamed quietly in happiness. As to not wake our sons up. I had just gotten them to go to bed for the night. Being its 8:00 pm.

"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" I shouted.

I jumped off the bed and into his arms and kissed him. He chuckled. He gently slid the ring onto my finger and my and and I couldn't be happier. I kissed him again after staring at my ring for about a minute or two. I love it. And boy lemme tell you...

I love my January.
