Chapter 57: Dec - What Can I Do To Help Him?

~December's POV~
We only have 5 girls in our pack. Mainly because they were all exiled or left willingly. Get your fingers away from those keys! Now before you get all mad, it's kind of my fault that their in trouble. See... February has changed. He's more demanding and aggressive towards everyone. Everyone except me. And it's all because I haven't mated with him yet. And I've noticed over the course of the past year, it's changed him. February knows I'm not ready. I mean... He's 25. I'm only 19. His wolf on the other hand... Not so much. He hates that I won't let him have sex with me. Or mate with me. Or whatever you want to call it. It angers me so. Now he hides in his office. He's harsh on the pack and he's a total dick to everyone but me. He punishes the whole pack. And now the pack is scared of him. Loyal, but scared. Some of them get punished a lot. The Omegas. The rank I once was. Now, according to some pack members, I'm the Luna. Which I'm not. Yet. I haven't fully mated with February. But they don't need to know that. Then they'll all turn against me. I heard yelling downstairs. So me being the curious one that I am, listened in and heard what was being said.
"You don't treat your pack that way!" A voice of reason shouted.
"I can do whatever I want to! I'm Alpha! Not you!" That's February's voice.

"That's not how an Alpha acts!" The voice of reason shouted.
"Oh really? Cause I've met quite a few Alphas and some do act the way I do!" February hissed.
"And your mate? You think he likes this? You think he approved of the wrongs you are doing?" The voice of reason asked.
"He hasn't said anything." February said.
"And he won't. Afraid he'll piss you off and you'll treat him like Deimos and Demos did." The voice of reason said.
I heard a crash noise and saw February holding some guy up against the wall.
"How do you know about that? Were you I cahoots with those two nimrods?!" February shouted.

"No! Every pack has heard about what your mate, December, has been through!" The voice of reason shouted.
Oh jeepers, here we go. Shouting again. This is bad. This is very bad. I sighed quietly. I descended down the spiral staircase. They all looked at me. The voice of reason I remembered was October. And standing next to him, ready to attack my mate, was Alpha Ke'Yon. They're mates. I looked at February. I could tell his wolf was in control. Not the mate I've come to know and love. I walked over to them.
"February... Let them go." I said.
"Why should I?" His wolf asked.
"Because, I have to ask them a few questions. And you can't be present for them. Unfortunately. So go upstairs to your office and do some of you Alpha work. I will call you when I am done interrogating them." I said.
He growled but nodded. He kissed me and left. I waited to speak till I heard his office door slam shut. Which it finally did. I turned and face October and Ke'Yon.

"Listen, he never used to be like this. He was never this aggressive." I said.
"I believe you. But what do you think changed him into this monster?" October asked.
I sighed heavily.
"I don't know." I said.
"Well it's a good thing we do." Ke'Yon said.
Oh really now?
"Then what is it?" I asked.
"It's the mating process. You guys haven't completed it yet. That's enough to damage his wolf. To piss him off. February might be okay with it for now. But his wolf isn't. His wolf thinks you don't want to have sex wth him because there's a flaw in his wolf that you hate." October said.
I looked down.

This is my fault.

"What can I do to help him?" I asked.

"In truth, have sex with him. Finish the mating process. That'll ease the anger his wolf has. Because right now, his wolf believes there is something wrong with him. Even though there isn't." Ke'Yon said.
I nodded. What have I done?

"So if I mate with him tonight, it'll calm his wolf down?" I asked.
"The statistic is high in your favor. His wolf have more urges than you and your wolf do. So he needs them fulfilled more than you do. You have those urges too but you can fight them. He cannot." October said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because he's an Alpha." Ke'Yon said.
"But you controlled it with October." I said.
"There were a few times I wanted to jump his bones. But yes. Some Alphas can control their urges better than others." Ke'Yon said.
Oh. Oh boy. I nodded.
"Come child. We'll explain on the way to our pack. We'll give you a ride back. Don't you worry about that-" October was cut off.
