"So you were waiting for me to find you?" Blake laughed.

I blushed. "I was starting to think you forgot about me."

"How could I forget you?" He scratched his head. "So what are you doing at the park?"

"I brought Rose and Rory. They've been cooped up in the house recently. I just wanted to get them some fresh air." I remembered Riker waiting for me.

He looked behind me. "So, where are they?"

"Rose is with her father and he's watching Rory too." My cheeks burned. I never told him the twins had different dads.

He looked confused. "Aren't they twins? Shouldn't they have the same father?"

I looked away. "That's kind of a long story."

"Are they with Rocky?"

"Actually, they're with his brother Riker."

He furrowed his brow. "So then Rocky is Rory's father?"

I couldn't look at him. "No. Rocky's other brother Ross is."

He was quiet. I didn't even see him move.

"I should go." I walked around him. "Riker's waiting for me."

"You want some company getting there?" He started following me.

"Really?" I stopped. "I thought I scared you away."

"The only thing that would scare me away from you would be if you were a clown. I hate those things."

I laughed at him. "Lucky for you then. I'm not a clown."

He brushed up against my arm and we started walking again.

"So why are you at the park?" I asked.

"I thought I'd find you."

"I'm beginning to think you're stalking me."

He laughed. "I'm just kidding. I live on the other side of the park. I like taking walks here. Maybe you're stalking me."

I gave him a look. "I didn't know you lived here."

He shrugged. "I bet you looked up my name."

"I don't know your last name." I rolled my eyes.

"Blake Faye." He smiled.

"Faye? Like a fairy?"

"Yep. I can't believe you made that comparison."

"What do you mean?"

He shrugged. "Every time I tell people my last name, they just say it's a girls name. I like that fairytale stuff, so obviously I knew about the resemblance, but no one else ever does. I think you're actually the first."

"Well." I smiled. "I'm into fairytale books too."

"No way!" He laughed. "That's pretty awesome. What are your favorite ones? Don't tell me Cinderella or something."

"Have you ever read the book Unenchanted?"

He shook his head. "I can't say I have."

"That's my favorite. The main character has to accomplish all kinds of grim fairytales to break the family curse and if she doesn't, it gets passed on to her younger brother."

"Looks like I'll have to read it. Especially if it's your favorite."

We rounded the corner to the swings.
