Special 30th Chapter! Letters to...

This is a special 30th chapter for the holidays that are coming up/passed (because Chanukah is almost over)!!! These are some short letters I wrote from the POV of different characters during the holidays. Not all of them wrote a letter, but if they didn't write one, they're receiving it! Maybe you can figure out who is writing it, and who is receiving it?  (Hint: each character only "appears" once, so if they've written a letter, they won't be receiving or writing another)

Letters to...

With my letter this year, there's nothing to fear, for you have nothing more to offer.

There's nothing you own, with your heart made of stone, that makes me happy to be your daughter.

I simply wanted to say that on this very day my thoughts reached out to you.

And while you've caused me to cry, worn me down with your lies, I wish you Happy Holidays too.

I promised you that I would write this letter. That I would send it home to you, maybe with a sweater. I promised you that I would write this letter. Although I can just drive home in my car seat made of leather. So here I am wishing you a good one. Eat lots of sweets and don't let Auntie ruin all your fun. I love you, so you better have a good one. Meet up with friends and stay up late- but not too late or she'll get suspicious of you and that's not good, she'll punish you like she did to me so maybe just stay up till one AM.

I'll be with you on the holidays (because you're always near).

But just in case I forget to say (although I'm sure you'll hear).

No matter what, no matter where, I'll always care for you.

If I turn my head, or look away, I know that I'll see you.

So don't fret (don't worry). Don't lose yourself.

Because on this special holiday I'll finally tell you the truth...

Of how I feel for you.

Although my heart is large, with love to go around, there's no where you can run within and not be found. For I have placed on you a diabolical tracking machine that will tell me where you are when you are not with me.

Oh my love. My strong but silent love. I'll see you tomorrow when the day shines bright, and without fail I'll kiss you at midnight.

I know that somewhere in your cold hard shell is a heart that loves the holidays. So for you I've made a game that I'm sure you'd like to play. I know I'm small, but with a big mind and heart, I know that I won't fail. So search and find me, and you'll see this holiday scavenger trail is not something you'd want to miss. (Hint: it ends with a kiss!)

Support and love go hand in hand, so why can't I find the words? Caring for you makes me feel things I didn't know I could. I just wanted to say:

I like you.

I know you.

I see you, through everything you do.

I care for you.

I'll get you through.

And build the courage up someday. Maybe I'll say it on this holiday...

Thank you all so much for the comments, it makes me so happy that you guys respond so quickly!! ❤️ I've also decided that (KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION) if someone can get the letters with both the writer/receiver exactly the way I pictured them, I'll mention them in the next chapter!
