FITZ POV
Bloody Hell.
"I thought the bus was huge on it's own."
There it was. Massive. This jet was twice as big as the bus, it casted threatening shadows over what seemed like (and probably was) the whole town.
"They must have taken Skye in there..." Ward said.
"And Simmons,"
"Yeah, let's go."
"Now? By ourselves?" I exclaimed, "You're insane. I can see at least twenty guards from here!"
"Then what will we do?" Ward snapped at me, "There's no backup this time, Fitz! We're on our own, and that's the way it's gonna be. If you weren't prepared for this, then you should have stayed in that cozy little lab, instead of following your idiotic girlfriend into this!"
"You can say whatever you want about me, but don't say a word about Jemma. You-"
"Sorry, Fitz... I was wrong to say that."
What was that? Grant Ward admits he is wrong?
"I just...." Ward sighed, "We need to get them back."
"Yeah, we're gonna get them back. Promise."
