I tried, believe me i did
To look to someone
To coerce my self to admire
Someone who isn't you
Forgive me it is hard
I asked my heart to beat again
I told it to feel afresh
It did follow my behest
But at the end of the day
It's you I still want
I tried, believe me I did
To like someone else
I TRIED, so I did
then i found myself
Attracted to someone else again
I Told my heart to take it slow
So slow so it won't hurt again
Alas! It's stubborn
It is suffering again
