Fortress

You freed me
From the fortress I once was imprisoned
So that we can be together
You freed me from the fortress
I once built to be safe from hurt and ugly feelings I know I might experience once I break them down
But still I let you broke in

And then I found myself
Standing inside the same fortress with no way to break away from

And then I realised that you broke my wall, my fortress just so you can
Rebuilt it
Stronger and higher
Than it was before
