I screamed loudly as I heard my brother speak. It was the most terrifying thing, hearing a voice you think is dead. Then again, he was never confirmed dead. His laughs echoed the alcove as he grabbed me. I still couldn't see his gruesome face. Not like I wanted to.

"Tom, why are you doing this!" I shrieked.

"My name is not Tom." he hissed.

I realized something, he was as weak as I was. If not, weaker. I shoved him away and glared. He straightened himself on the branch.

"Suddenly couragous, I see." he snarked.

"You're pathetic, Tom." I put venom in my words, making sure he got my point.

"At least I'm not 'a squib'. Like you admitted you are." he laughed again.

"It's YOUR fault I'm a squib. The actions and things you did were unforgivable. Millions dead, or slaughtered I should say. Countless others hurt. You are a disgrace to the family name!" I spat at him.

"At least I know my family name!" he growled back.

I gasped softly, clentching my fist. He knew he struck a nerve. Immediately, he started climbing down and away, but I did a retarded thing and jumped. He fell to the floor and I landed atop him, snarling.

"Don't ever speak to me again." I walked away before running randomly through the woods, getting hopelessly lost.

I heard a soothing voice calling my name. Wanting to free myself of this damp and horrid place, I walked towards the voice. I knew it would either be a friend to take me to Hogwarts or an enemy to kill me for supper. Either way, I'd be out of the woods. I pushed through brush and brambles, finding Hagrid and Fang right on the other side.

"Rosie!" he shouted happily.

I smiled weakly and hugged him. He wrapped one beefy arm around me and laughed.

"We've been out her' all night lookin' fer yer." he pushed me back up and away from him. "Are yer okay? Yer lookin' a lil pale..."

I waved him off and stumbled towards the school. Hearing the half-giants footsteps behind me, I felt safer than walking around alone. All of a sudden, the world fell black and I collapsed into the Black Lake.

The blinding white light was the first thing I saw when I woke up, second was a woman standing over me.

"Rest dear. You're running a fever. Why in Earth were you in the Forbidden Forest?! You could have gotten killed! And even though I am an exceptional Nurse, I cannot reverse death!" she ranted. I sighed and sat up in bed, swinging my legs over the side of the bed.

"What are you doing?!" she panicked and tried to gently push me back into the bed.

I waved her off and stood, wrapping the warm blanket around my shoulders. She triped to yank it off and I glared, tightening my grip on it.

"It's not yours. It's not even a blanket." she huffed tugging at it again.

I about asked her whose was it and what was it, but all that came out was a garbled wheeze sound. She frowned and forcfully shoved me onto the bed.

"Hold still." she poked and prodded, looked and leered.

After a half hour of her examiniation, she stepped back. "You lost your voice. Or rather, someone took it. Odd... I'll speak with Dumbledore and as for know, use parchment and quill till we can solve this issue."
