i think the pretty thing about playing around with a kaleidescope is that you see so many new patterns every few minutes and sometimes you find one that's absolutely amazing, and you know it won't be there for long because your hand could spasm at any moment and change the way the beads decided to arrange themselves. you see a glimpse of beauty once, and you never know if you're going to see it again.
