LUCY

As I jumped I grabbed one of the medal bars and I swung until my feet hit the tiny landing underneath the bridge. I shuffled back a bit and waited. I heard people start to leave, some are actually crying. I had done this before. This little landing is where I spent most of my time as a kid. I smiled when I seen the little wooden box that I had left here before I left the town. It was brown and extremely old. It was worn out and broken. I opened it to see the ring I was given when I was tiny. It had my birthstone in the middle and next to it was an open space. It was surrounded by a silver heart. The reason why there was an open space next to my stone was because when you found your one true love you were supposed to have their birthstone put next to it. I picked it up and held it close as I shuffled and swung my way out of there and back on to the bridge. I ran back to town but this time I took the back roads and ally's to avoid people. I walked my way to the jewelry store and stopped inside.

" why hello there miss. How are you today?" I nice man greeted me. I shook his outstretched hand politely
" I have a ring here that needs work." I showed his the ring and told him what needed to be done and he did it. While I was waiting I just happened to look outside to see a news truck pull up. Great, just wonderful. It was the same station that Lockwood watched. Actually, come to think of it, it was the only new station he watched. Wonderful. Twenty minutes later I paid for my ring and left. I walked to my friend Carly's  house. She was so happy when she saw me alive and not dead. She let me spend the night and was so thankful. Until I saw him. Lockwood and George. They were walking to the bridge and I swear Lockwood was crying. I froze, they didn't even take a glimpse my way. They then turned the corner and were out of site. I looked at the ring on my finger then back up at where they just were. I got up and tore off after them.

LOCKWOOD

This cant be happening. Its not real, its just another nightmare. Like all the other times. Right? I ran faster toward the bridge and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw it. I large, candle lit memorial for her. So it was true. I pinched my self and it hurt. I took a few staggering steps forward before crashing on to my knees. I sobbed retched sobs. Sounds coming from deep within came out of me. My heart shattered and flew out in all directions. What little light left inside me flickered out as the little bit of hope that I hung to broke.
" I hate seeing you cry." Someone said from behind me. My head wiped around to see her.

" you're, h-hear?" I blinked. And blinked and rubbed my eyes but she remained there. She bent down and pulled me close and cried in my shirt. I held her close, breathing in her sent of vanilla and cinnamon. Her touch was so real and strong and alive. She was alive. She had come back. I cried into her and rocked her back and forth slowly. I was never letting her go ever again.

" hey sweetie, can we talk for a moment?" I called to Lockwood from that bathroom.
" oh yeah give me two seconds." He replied. So I waited. He then came rushing over.
" yeeeeesssss??" He asked with a smile. I looked at him through the small crack from the door. I hadn't opened it fully yet.
" So I ummm, well you ummm... Here." I said handing him a small tube. He looked at it with curiosity. And slowly, ever so slowly his eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. He looked up at me as I opened the door fully.
" yes lockwood...
