I pushed Jamal back to that guest room and looked over.
"That can't be them" I said lowly
Xavier's fro was sorta all over and he was rubbing it looking at us. My mama walked in the kitchen, and then I'd seen Chris.
"Fuck!"
They had a confused look on their face when they seen Xavier, and seen him being lifted.
"Why are you up so early?"
"I-I heard a sound downstairs and when I came I saw Kim downstairs."
"Then where is she?"
He shrugged, "I think she went to the bathroom, ion know"
"Jamal leave, imma have to go out there so when you see it's totally clear then run out "
"Bye"
I pecked his lips and jogged out to the kitchen
"There she is"
"Why yall up so early"
"I just came down here to---"
"Yeah where's Jamal?" Xavier asked
Chris frowned and my mama did too.
"Xavier Jamal left like hours ago, when you fell asleep, remember?" He shook his head, "no"
"Well he did"
"You're not lying are you?"
"Mama, I'm not, already accusing. Jeesh"
"Well you two shouldn't be just wandering ar--"
"Ari! Do you know you have a huge ol' game room!?!" She jumped wants she seen my mama and Chris.
She quickly hid behind my leg and my mama looked at me with a frown
"And what is she doin' hea' ?"
"Oh Armani?" I asked
They nodded, "Well when Jamal was here with her she didn't wanna leave, so I let her stay over"
My mama bent down to her level.
"You don't have to be scared of us, we've met before"
She still hid behind my leg.
"I want Jamal"
"Well he's not comin' back until morning."
"Well then I'll wait for him"
"Okay I'll wait with you" I said knowing she was gonna fall asleep any minute
"This is your problem Kim, so if you do end up staying up all night don't be mad at us." I nodded
"Mama can I stay up with them"
She laughed, "Xavier you're going to sleep"
Chris and my mama went upstairs with Xavier and I stood there with Armani.
"Let's go play in the room"
I nodded walking in there.
"How'd you know there was a game room if there was no light?"
"I could see the toys in da dark, duh"
I flicked the switch and she looked around.
"Wow! Is that Mikey Mouse?"
She asked looking at the cartoons all over the wall.
"Yeah" I said
This place was impressive.
